SSSS Fantasy Pineapple (1 Viewer)

[Poker Zombie]

A last-minute Fantasy Poker pool at S@P III got me to thinking of other ways to run something like this. A way to add the excitement and gambol to those that cannot make an event. A few drafts have been done, but I want to expand the concept to a full blown auction.

Punters bid on one or more players expected to attend the Sticks, Stars, Straddles and Shenanigans Crazy Pineapple opening event at casa Zombie. Highest bid in an unedited post earns points based on their player's finishing position.

Points will be given out for the top finishers only:
1st: 10 points
2nd: 7 points
3rd: 5 points
4th: 3 points
5th: 1 point

EDIT as of Oct 2: Payout of the prize pool will be percentage based, using the same percentages as the main tournament pool. Anticipated payouts of appx. 55/25/20, subject to change

Prize pool is dependent on the sum of all winning bids.

Auction rules apply...
1. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM are allowed.
2. Bids must be placed in minimum increments of $1.
3. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at 7:00 PM EDT on Tuesday October 4th will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be 5 min. after the latest bid was posted.
4. Edited posts will be voided.
5. I reserve the right to: i) cancel the auction at any time; ii) void any or all bids; iii) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed
6. Tommy and PCF are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.

If an anticipated player does not attend, the bids on that player are voided and will not count toward the overall prize-pool.

Prizes will be paid via PayPal friends/family. Attendees of the Crazy Pineapple event may pay me in cash and I will then PayPal the funds to the winner to minimize the number of PP transactions necessary.

Ben ($28): Creator of the SSSS. Has won the Main Event at S@P III and I believe he has also won the Windy City Main Event, though I cannot find that thread. It is widely believed he finished 3rd at the Rumble in the Rockies without having even attended.

BGinGA ($23): Master of tournament structures. The Crazy Pineapple event structure was built without his famous 25/75 level, just to put him on tilt. I also painted the biggest wall in my poker room blue just to tilt him more. Why? He owns a bullet that reads "Poker Zombie".

Breich (Scratch): Chomping at the bit for circus games, he may find Crazy Pineapple too tame and be looking to get to the cash games early.

ChaosRock (Scratch): Owns more chipsets that even he is aware of, and he probably has 3 others in production that none of us are aware of. He is likely funding these purchases from his winnings at the 2015 WSOP.

Inca911 ($31): Open Face Chinese Poker promoter. Plays the Pineapple version online, making him the Pineapple favorite - but can he make the adjustment from OFCP to Crazy?

Mr Tree ($26): With his son's birthday rapidly approaching, will his mind be focused on family matters, or will he play with the determination of a father trying to pay off the party debt early?

Mrs. Poker Zombie ($25): Homefield advantage means not having to drive anywhere post-game. Will either run deep or drink deeper.

Poker Zombie ($21): Homefield advantage, and has crazy down pat. However, has never played a single hand of Pineapple or Crazy Pineapple, though he really likes pineapple - especially grilled.

Ronoh ($30): Tennessee is a coconut free zone, thus ensuring his safety. I may tie a pineapple in the tree just to see if pineapples hold a grudge against him as well.

Tommythecat (Scratch): Attendance at this point is only 60/40 in favor, meaning that money bid on TtC already has a 40% chance of breaking even!

Field ($37): This will consist of any late comers not listed above, including any locals that may attend. At this time, no locals have confirmed, but I wanted to hold the slot open just in case.
The Field bet is capable of cashing in multiple positions.
