Re-shipping is likely the least problematic thing about running these group buys. Nailing the artwork requirements with multiple designs could be the issue.
Plus, I have no idea what company was used in the past, or who this mysterious Ashley is. She sounds lovely.

I bought some bridge sized cut cards through Plastic Printers and was very happy with the results.
Could we get the metal cut cards (or whatever material that is). I’d love to order a lot of those.

There are these brushed aluminum cut cards on eBay. These work so much better than the plastic cards. There's no hunting through the deck for these!
For custom made ones maybe @MegaTon44 can chime in as he had ones made for his PHL meet-up this year.

I had some custom metal ones made on here. The issue for me and my group is that the metal ones dig into your hands.
I had some custom plastic ones made on Etsy. They feel much better.
