I got a good deal on some pink tiger fracs when the other bidders forgot about the auction. Turned out to be trhr most expensive auction cause I ended up buying the set they got broken up from...Also some people are forgetful (me) and bid what they are willing to pay now so they don’t miss the ending.
Thank you. That’s a good answer.if there are no bids an auction can be cancelled (found that out the hard way before)
That’s a great answer.Because I gotta say " f u Gorbash"
No clouds nearby?Or at any point before 5 minutes before its end time? How could that possibly help you, if you actually want to win the auction?

I won a rack of Paris $2's from @Gorbash for the opening $200 bid because everyone forgot about the auction. I felt bad for him until I saw his closet of chipsBecause I gotta say " f u Gorbash"
The punchline here is that I’ve still never tasted a Busch light peach
If there were a 3 bid max, waiting until the last minute would be in everyone's best interest in order to have one more final bid than the person who bid before youSometimes I'll throw an early bid in just so i know i'm watching it and i get notifications, because i've lost out on a lot of listings simply because i forgot.
Often times I just put in my max bid of what I will pay. I try not to fuss and mess with all the last minute nickel and diming. I just put in my bid and if it holds, then great. Sometimes, as the deadline approaches, I may realize that I am willing to bid more, but usually not.
i think we would have more honest bidding if everyone were only allowed 3 bids per listing. I would actually like that format.

So I get two F U Gorbashs before I gotta get serious?I like the 3-bid max idea. It’ll never happen because that could hurt the seller, but it’s still a nice idea.
But I can’t get on board with the notifications thing. We all have smartphones in our pocket - set an alert.
