I don’t know if it's this particular chip, but it looks like murdering the Colons will be a nightmare.

Most of these old school leaded chips have paper inlays that are a major pain in the ass to get off. Talking at least 5 to 10 minutes per chip even with NPR. The textured laminate is also thicker and more difficult to cut through than the modern smooth laminate. Case and point:

I tried to do these VLV 50's by hand. Total nightmare. The dings and scratches are not totally evident unless you're looking at it close up, but it is definitely noticeable up close.

Happy to take them off your hands cheaply...

In my experience those old leaded chips with paper (prior to vinyl) inlays are a nightmare. Non acetone nail polish remover or 90% isopropyl alcohol helps some, but you're still looking at about 4-5min/ chip iirc.

After removing the laminate, I applied some Quita Goma (I assume it's similar to Goo Gone). I had to dig a little on the edges but eventually the label came off in nearly one piece, so labels aren't that bad, but the laminate is.

You should post some pics of all the chips together when you have time. Would be real fun seing them in racks from above for example. So many good chips from that place.

Grays are done, that was a long haul. Moving on to purples. These ones so far have a "great" laminate, they all come off in one piece.

Nothing to peel off these inlays. Gotta scratch them out of existence! Oh well, at least the laminates came off super easy.
Careful with chemicals. Seems like the chip on the right has some color damage all around the inlay area...
