makai /ma·kai/ /məˈkī/ adv : toward the sea
Had a great time designing these chips with yall here and it finally arrived yesterday! I believe it's one of the first Tina Greek hybrid sets. First, some money shots.
Spots
I still think solid spots that appear on both edge and face make it easiest to allow counting chips. But with ceramics, we are not bound to predetermined spot patterns, so I shrunk the spots. This allows the base color to be more prominent even for more complex spot patterns, reducing dirty stack issues. I'm going to miss this flexibility when designing my CPC set.
Inspiration
25¢: pink plumeria
$1: sunset sky
$5: mai tai
$20: dark ocean
$100: the sun
