How much should I expect to spend for a .25 home game set? (1 Viewer)

it’s all doable at Wally world for a few bucks. Horrible Chips though, will leave you wanting more…

It’s also doable with Tina and CM chips. Hundreds now, but still very good value, but still not a Paulson.

Then there are buttery smooth shuffling used stuff out there. Nowadays it seems to be a buyers market, so I’d go forth and search some out.

Then it’s minty TPs and other GB chips. Costs are astronomical.

Then there is real leaded THC casino stuff, real crème de la crème of chips, or TRKs, also crème….

What’s your budget expectations? How many players. I know guys that run MTT cash games. It’s a pretty vague question in a way

$7.5 Gs

(There's about 200 chips missing from this photo)

Spend some time browsing this forum and you'll gain a lot of knowledge that may save you some money down the road.

You can get a really nice ceramic set for 750 full retail, dice chips for 40 bucks full retail. If you are patient you can build or find a nice set from eBay offer up etc for a more reasonable amount. If you just want a ready to go paulson set its going to be in the thousands.

That’s 11 rack so about $18+ per chip on average.

If you take away the few racks of starburst, the average will be above $25+

I guessing that‘s some miscaluation somewhere or chips are just very expensive I am no expert

Head on over to www.brpropoker.com and get some samples. If you like them, a 600 chip set is just under $500. Ceramics from BRPRO give you a significant improvement over slugged plastic and they don't require a second mortgage on the house to be able to pay for them.

Factor in shipping and the cost nearly doubles depending on how many chips are in the lot

How many players? Mostly Hold ‘Em or a variety of games? Buy in amount? .25/.25? .25/.50? What factors are most important to you (look, feel, security, uniqueness, cost, speed of delivery, etc.)?

Truly one of the most epic collector endeavors and the definitive "grail set" that has been a joy to watch over the past decade:

Nearly every individual chip has an accompanying acquisition story. Finding more than 1-2 at a time is extremely rare. Amazing to see a full rack of these materialize in a PCF global scavenger hunt! There aren't many $10k+ individual racks out there, but I bet this is one....
