Maybe after all of the Tiger Palace buzz subsides, some of the folks that miss out might wander back over here. These chips are stunning, and while no, I haven't committed to an order yet, I haven't ruled it out yet either.

It's just bad timing. There are those Tigers and Mel has already anounced to start another group-buy for the WSOP Tributes (with an added cash set) next Spring/Summer, both lowering the interest in these.
I don't share the enthusiasm for the Tigers. For my taste, the inlay is too generic and colors/spots are more candy shop than casino like. They may be the next hot thing for those who can afford everything, already have everything else and need something new and spectacular, but that's it.

Is there a total chip minimum, or just the 500 chip individual minimum with the 15% upcharge if not met? In other words, can any amount of chips be ordered as long as we are willing to pay the upcharge?
Also, these chips are identical in feel to Mel's Horseshoes, right? Do you know if there are any sample sets floating around that I could borrow? Maybe holding them in my hands might put me over the top? I looked in a couple of her threads, and I didn't see any mention of a reorder. Is that just something you know from talking with her?

The 15% is for any chip that does not reach 500. No minimums for any chip. These will be identical to the previous Horseshoe chips. I will look. I may have a sample. Mel plans to do a reorder for the Horseshoes in the spring I believe. And add a cash set

Justin - If my opinion matters at all (which it probably shouldn't) I'd just leave the order open. Looks like we just need 1-2 more people to put an order in for most of the chips!

If anyone was holding out for my group buy, you probably shouldn’t. I still plan to do it someday, but I am starting to realize that it probably won’t be 2023. I am not going to run another group buy until I can ensure we get the custom frac inner ring, and buy a nice healthy cash set for myself. And that is not going to be 2023.
So…if you like this Sands design but were thinking about waiting for my order….don’t. It may never happen, honestly. And I am quite sure it won’t happen in 2023.
