Can we talk you out of the $.50 chip with a $1 chip?

As played, I like the .50 and the 1 pattern and colors, but I think that's a real busy 5 and 20. I think blue on orange looks nasty (try something neutral like grey, black or white.). The purple, pink and yellow are all over the place. It's not as much of a purple chips as it is a purple pink and yellow chip. Mild purple base, mild yellow edge then that nasty pink taking away from the other lovely colors...eww. The solution? More neutral. Purple yellow and black or white. :D

Edges like this keep the base colors the star of the show.

I like the top. I've always been a sucker for the 4v. That being said, it kinda messes up your spot progression don't you think?

And for what its worth I would have voted for number 3 originally so what do I know.

I voted 4, but would be fine with #2. I love the yellow.

The reason for #4 over #2 is I prefer the edge spot colors on the 5 dollar chip.

Voted for #4.
I don't know if you've ever seen them but here are some pics of a french guy's set : the 10€ is very similar to your $5 (in #1 and #3) 'and the 20€ is your $20 with purple base...

Yes. That set is the inspiration for this set. I had zero plans of building a new set until I seen that set lol
Truly amazing

Gotta go with 4 - yellow quarter >>>> charcoal/green quarter. I find the light blue on the $5 more personally appealing than DG green, but can't deny that DG green makes a lot more sense in that spot with the imp blue spots already on the $1. Awesome set!

^^ This

2 or 4. Voted two just based on personal preference but basically love either. Specifically the orange with the greyish light blue and black...smashing!

After seeing the live pics of the inspiration chips, I retract my comment.
LOL! Ya.. :)

just had one HECK of a day.. couldnt even think about chips today or my new set. I had to ship off my set of stardust mansion chips (I will miss them!), worked almost non stop and had to rescue a scared, cold and lost kitten outside my condor door. Put up found ads all over the place and kept it in my 2nd bedroom. Poor thing had a collar on and was obviously not used to outside. was cowering in the corner. Thankfully the owner called and its back home!

then had a squash match tonight and lost :( just got home! non stop day of craziness!!

Anyways!.. Back to the mental grind tomorrow on these :)

was tinkering around with my FINAL spot and color work. need to submit later today. If I get 500 chips plus I can get a 5th denom. If I do the $100, I will only get a barrel of them (plus samples etc). But what do you all think is the best progression down below? I know most spoke highly of #4 but I will ask again quickly here..

I added a few lvl 7 hundo options too and hopefully it can be done with this set :)

Prefer the bottom row with the middle hundo.

Bottom row for sure. Prefer the right hundo, left a close second, middle a distant third.

ya I do like the 1/4. 6.6.8 looks but in reality I dont think its a great 'progression'. I have always thought a progression of denoms is just that, low to high etc.
I think it should be all the same minus the 1/4 frac or all going larger (4,6,8)

In all your scans there are only 9 different chips shown. What's an extra 400 chips on the order? We have plenty of clay :) :D

My real opinion - 2, with the middle hundo.
Middle hundo has by far the best color contrast.
Your other options would make counting a mixed stack harder.

so you think top right with the arc yellow and white spotted 100? (in the picture I post yesteday? or the OP picture #2 because you voted on that one as well for the charcoal and green frac?) just trying to get clarification on what one your referring to.

because I have a week to go before deadline and I am an indecisive son of a beech....

As much as I liked my previous layout, it was not sitting perfect with me. Did some more tweeking today....Which 100? swap bluple to purple too.

I would not have two chips with the same DG Green spot color. So hundo with DG Pink/Light Blue spots (which I think looks better, anyway -- very similar to the NPS chip, which I like alot).

Updated again... cant stop tinkering around..but this is pretty much it since I have to submit on Monday to CPC

1 2 or 3? think the black $100 should be 1/8 or 1/6? your thoughts...and may change Imp Blue to light blue on the 100
