Report Day 1 - training to go outside.

Lots of potty little training.

Two dogs are very difficult. The little assholes disappear for a second and you don’t even know who did the deed.

Makeshift kennel in the family room.

So cute though! My plan with our next dogs is to get two pups from the same litter. Brother and sister or two sisters.

Do you have any pets? How long have you had them? How did you get them? We used to have dogs and a cat but they all passed away. Do your pets interrupt or interact with your poker at all? Feel free to generally discuss anything even vaguely pet related in this thread.
Just got two kittens. First Game at homebase will be in two weeks.
Will post how they reacted!

We're starting to travel and do more shit now that we're getting older. I'm pushing not to get any more dogs. I think I'm going to lose that battle
Small dogs are good travelers. But I wouldn’t want to fly with dogs.

This is what we did last time. It worked great. They seemed to play with each other more than the couch, pillows, shoes, etc, and it really seemed to help with potty training too. I think we will continue to go this route in the future.

Princess passed away today. And I wanted to share a little bit of her here.

In fact this is my girlfriend who found her in a garbage dump, in a cardboard box, in the cardbox container.

She was skinny and should be around 6 months old. This was ithe 14th September 2010. From this day, she became Princesse, the cat of my girlfriend. She followed her everywhere in her house, ...

At this time, my girlfriend and I were together for few months but not living together yet.

Once we decided to live together, we of course took Princesse with her and I adopted her. With time, I gained her confidence and she adopted me too. From this moment, she was siting on my legs when I was watching TV, she sometimes slept in my arms instead of staying next to my girlfriend, when we were going to the vet, she always looked for protection in my arms, ...

When we got Arya (a puppy dog), she was not too happy but Arya loved her. She even learnt to hunt moles looking at Princesse. She was following her everywhere in the backyard. When Princesse was ill or had something, Arya was always coming next to her. On her side, Princesse started to accept Arya and I could see them greet each other in the morning (Arya sniffing Princesse and Princesse rubbing her tail on Arya).

Today, when waking up and petting her for the last time, I did not know it would be the last time I would do it because a son of a bitch speed maniac hit her without even attempting to brake.

We are devastated and we can already feel the void she's leaving in our house and in our lives. She'll be in our hearts forever.

Dang. Sorry for your loss in that way. We’ve got a cat as well that will devastate us when she leaves.

I'm sorry man. The one terrible day doesn't take away that the 1,000 other great days happened. Hold on to the great memories.

You are right. The only thing that will help is time. Pain will go away little by little with time and only our love for will remain. But it's a tough process.
Thanks for the kind words man.

This past summer my wife and I said goodbye to one of our Labradors, a beloved chocolate lab named Rocco.

We’ve been going through old pictures and found one of the day we brought him home. Compared to a picture the day before he left us, the aging in all of us is striking. It was a good nearly 13 years

Thats wild man. A lot of life and memories between those two pictures. Also, I'm pretty sure only two of the three in those pictures have aged.....
