Give me your BEST 6 circus games.

Has to be PL and split pot.

What are you playing?



I'd go with this line up:


1) BigO-Tahoe aka Tahoe hi/lo aka ‘2or5’ (no draw, low or high can be in your hand or on board. 8 qualifier, more pain more gain)((and yes I know others have other names for this...what eva))

2) Archie. - 3 draw rounds, 99+ qualifier hi and 8 qualifier for low, NO BOARD. probably my new favorite degen game. Most dangerous game of them all. And who Is Archie anyway? I am afraid to meet them.

3) Derailment - a twist on the classic Gods Game. Much pain. 3 boards. Lowest river card of the 3 gets that board removed.

4) Draw2maha - kept at draw 2, keeps some donkeys from losing their ass. Highest 5 in hand and highest Omaha hand chop.

5) Doubleboard 5 card - Gods game, nuff said.

6) Dramaha49 - Torn between this and dramaha Low. a coin flip. Omaha hIgh hand and highest pips in hole hand. four tens and a 9 is the nut high. hence 49

6+1) Scarney. - Icelandic rules. Lose all your cards. GTFO ! And normal Scary too. LOL 6 in hand.
I put as 6+1 because it doesn't have to get called. can be thrown in anywhere. Shouldn't be played after 1am when everyones drunk.

It’s actually an add-on to any of the games you listed (or anything else we play).

It’s called “With A Stand”. So you’d call Doubleboard Omaha with a stand. All the players have to stand and remain standing until they win at least a part of a pot. Play a full orbit of 8 hands, and anyone still standing at the end has to pay everyone at the table $10 (amount can vary depending on stakes).

Interesting twist on derailment that I’ve never tried but I’ve never seen the situation arise either.

If you lose all 3 boards - play the cards in your hand.

There’s a giant pipe in the ole rectum. You’ll be seeing Leonard after that hand.

Had it happen, many times. I’ve rolled a 6 low in my hand and two pair on the board and Paul in Westwood rolled a wheel in his hand to scoop. This was a popular game in the Westwood circuit for a while.

The draw makes it all the better. Nothing like holding a wheel in the mitt on a double paired flush board 3 handed. You can’t have a wheel without WHEEEEEEEE!

i.ve seen this. Not sure I can last an orbit of standing while drinking.
And its supposed to drive action. DO we need this?

IT was like someone suggesting bomb pots at the BigBoy Table in Dallas. ummm we have 1200 in the pot pre flop already.. we have gone nuclear.

I'd like to try the Kill and replace version too.
any good card shows up on discard board get killed and a replacement card comes in from the deck. Might be too complicated. another reason not played after 1am.

ive played this. But was called 3 hand holdem. And there's no split pot. SO its out !!

This is a good rotation for the later stages of a circus tournament. When you get three-four handed quit playing games that can split the pot

We played a lot of murder Scarney at DiD and it felt like an action killer. We often had a 1 or 2 card board and there was a clear low and clear high and 2 players and small pots.

What is ultimate Omaha?

Agree on no split pot games after 3 or 4 handed, unless you want to tourney to last 9 days.
