I've seen this called the opposite way during the season, claiming the player had possession because he was in control of the puck. They're definitely not consistent with this. I hate the offside challenge to begin with.

I get the sense this isn't going 7 one way or another. If Tampa takes this it'll be over quickly. The Rangers will never make it easy though.
The longer the series goes, the better chance the Rangers have, I think. They play their best game with their backs against the wall. I was feeling confident before Pittsburgh but honestly thought they'd get waxed by Carolina. I was way more impressed by Pittsburgh than Carolina though. As those series have shown, regular season play means nothing, and I just hope the Rangers don't go into this overconfident. Tampa are back in the ECF and won back to back Cups for a good reason.
