I think chastising someone for helping a chipper get some chips at an advertised price, and doing so based on incomplete information is a bit much.

One can only interpret and respond to the incomplete information that has been written. Kind of like a hand of poker. You go with whatever incomplete info you have at the time. Sometimes, in retrospect you've made some horrible decisions on the flop and turn based on your incomplete info. Only to hit a miracle 2 outer on the river.

Are there things we can do to better ourselves for future interactions and life in general? Absolutely. Some say self improvement is life's journey. Others say it's just masturbation. Maybe write your posts with full prologue and appendices - ensuring complete information is given to judgemental dickheads like me. Again, are you being too sensitive to a stranger's posts on a internet forum? Not everyone has to fawn over your posts right? You could just ignore my drivel? And maybe I'm a being an asshat and bitch (probably definitely) for criticizing your posts?

PS: isn’t the entire pr0n section a bunch of brags? About deals? About finds? About collections? Aren’t our resources like “biggest chipset per casino” a bunch of brags? Aren’t threads like “one of a kind racks” brags?

Maybe to some people. I just thought it was more about sharing cool shit and excitement with other interested/enthusiastic hobbyists, because usually when I show people close to me anything chipping related it is met with a relatively feigned response. My groups do enjoy playing with quality stuff, but if I put the same great set out every time versus changing it up, it would likely be the same to them.
