I don’t have a card problem. Do you have a card problem? (7 Viewers)

My favorite design is probably the joker and the thief series. Ofc the mint is nice too, although they are pretty asymetric on the backs sometimes...
I'm not familiar with that series, will have to check it out. I have noticed that on the mints too but I do like the marking system they integrated.

Btw, i like the regalia deck u got there!
It's a good one, got it when Shin Lim played a theatre in Boston.

I feel like a collection like that belongs to a "cardist".
Not a real cardist but also not a real poker player...somewhere in the middle. I had high hopes, maybe I get back on that horse for another go. C'mon fingers, give me the power of dexterity!

Apples and oranges, I think. Your cards aren’t exactly poker cards, right? But you should win something for that collection.
Yes ofc, only paper cards. More for cardistry and magic..

Please say yes!

I still love all types of playing cards and playing poker, but global interest in cards (and poker mainly) really took a dive, so it just didn't make sense economically to continue the business. I still make some decks available here and there on eBay and we're toying with the idea of bringing things back in a limited fashion, but covid has not made things easy. Buying and selling cards was always more of a hobby than a business for me, and I'm still collecting...although I do miss bringing cool, new designs to market, sharing these decks with others, and hearing feedback and stories from customers. I still LOVE collecting cards and have some awesome gems I think some of you would really appreciate (I'll try to upload some pics soon). I always made sure to save some for myself whenever I brought in a new set.

It's really nice to see such positive comments about caragails and photos of everyone's collection. I'm glad folks are still active on threads like these and it's a nice feeling that others have the same "problem" :) Like Sy Sperling said, I wasn't just the owner, I was also a client...lol.

@caragails so happy you're around. I miss your store...and I also miss wide availability of Modiano Platinum Acetate Bridge sized Jumbo Index...the perfect card IMO...

@caragails would you happen to have any Grimaud, 100% plastic, JQK court, jumbo index decks?

A longshot but worth asking

What now? I didn't know there was ever such a thing made :wow:

My interest in the hobby followed your time in business @caragails , but I'm always eager to hear about offerings in the past, and perhaps the future if you're thinking of getting back into the swing of things. If you have anything in the reserves from previous buys in the past, dibs!

These Cartundis are printed on the greatest, flexiest stock of all time. Similar to KEM, but noticibly flexier. There are only two decks that we know of, on this stock.

1. Get back into the card business
2. Find some cards on this stock
3. Profit.

Now I do need to get my boxes out..I ordered plenty at CG (with much pleasure).

Belgium is the place to be when talking cards but even with a contact on the inside it (almost) impossible to get a custom deck going...
Great to hear all is well...

Super excited to hear you're still "in the game"! I was really bummed when I saw your site go offline back in 2016... you were my one-stop-shop when I first got serious about hosting. I remember reaching out to you to try and find out what happened, and I still have the email in my Sent box...
