I like to 'cheat', I take photos on my phone, but prefer to use the computer to post with, so I'll post, edit with the phone, add the photos, then on the computer download and 'adjust' the post so the photos show up in the post using my computer. I don't really log in from other locations only computer / phone, I'll leave 2fa enabled I think, see how it goes.

Yes, I believe that is the case. There also have been many zero-day OS and web browser exploits recently. Make sure you keep your browser and OS updated. I'm also aware of the Log4j security vulnerability effecting many web servers and have already applied patches for that a week ago.

the scammer messaged me a couple times saying he had more I can post what I messaged him I showed it to @Nanook and then the scammer obvs stopped responding

Is it possible to have the site generate a random string of numbers that is sent to the user’s email that they registered with and then they have to use that code to post a classified?

If someone has access to an account, they can change the e-mail address associated to it... and if that is disabled, legit users might end up in trouble when they lose access to the address.
