No but not having found any mention of this being an issue I’m assuming there’s a little wiggle room.

Guys everyone is overthinking this. The solution is simple. Apply brute force. If it’s not working, you aren’t applying enough.

The simple solution is not to use the damn things. There’s no grading system for poker chips, even if there were, there’s no condition-to-value guide. I honestly have no idea what kind of damage people are looking to prevent, when they stick chips in in these little plastic cages. Is it skin-oil finger prints? Or is it dropping them on a concrete floor and chipping them? I dunno, but I really don’t get it.

I don’t have any valuable chips so it’d be more for presentational purposes. I may make a personalized chip for each person in my main home game group and would be nice to give it to them in these airtime cases. They can act as a card guard or whatever.

They're also cheaper than others. I don't have any valuable chips to protect, but I was thinking about making a custom chip (label) for the players in my regular game, putting them in these things and give one out to each of the guys.

Got these today. Unfortunately, the don't fit the vast majority of my chips. They don't fit my DPS's Monaco Casino chips, none of the CC I have on hand (mostly samples), including Spirit Mold, 8V, various Apache chips (Dunes, Pharaohs, Majestics, Monte Carlos), NexGen/ProGen Dunes, CPC B-Mold, and not even dice chips!

The do fit Cards Mold chips and DPS's Outlaws without problems. But I'm gonna have to return them.

I did also get some Air-Tite I39s with the black foam ring (genuine according to the eBay listing though they didn't come in Air-Tite packaging, probably because they were part of a larger bulk order).

These fit all the chips above fine (some tighter than others) since the foam can squish to accommodate. @ktran, the height of the chips fit within the interior. It maybe left a tiny "gap" between the the top and bottom half (should still be relatively air/water-tight since there's overlapping plastic), which is actually helpful to re-open these.

Nope but that's a nice price, and Amazon's return policy is pretty open especially around the holidays. Give them a try and report back!
