I'm curious about how long it normally takes for TCR to sort through the giant mess of orders and get stuff in the mail? I have no doubt that it's a massive undertaking. This was my first sale so I'm just looking for a reference point / general idea.

The answer is, "it depends".
My guess is Jim will have all orders shipped within a week. I don't think i remember anyone legitimately complaining about delays in shipment. To the contrary, i have seen numerous posts from people marveling at how quickly they got their chips. Check the other sale threads. I think you will find them.

My first Black Friday sale…picked up some more Jack chips to round out my set and have plenty of backups. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s thoughts on the Majestic Stars when they arrive.
Thanks for the input I don't think anyone was worried about whether or not he does a good job or timely etc etc. I think they just were wondering what a standard time frame would be for a large transaction which could be hundreds of shipping packages he would have to put together. I'm fine if it's here by Christmas

This is correct. The weight limit is much more of an issue with international then any size restrictions when it comes to chips.

When I first read the question earlier today about how long does Jim’s shipping take, I almost made the comment "I’m surprised the first couple people haven’t posted their shipping notices already.".
I decided against it because I didn’t want to get peoples hopes up or make it sound like I was actually surprised Jim hadn’t got shipping notices out less than 24 hours after the sale; because what I meant was in all his sales past the first batches of people had gotten their shipping notices next day. Some cases even the same day.
It is so awesome that Jim doesn’t even take time off after a giant sale for us. He jumps right into boxing and getting orders ready for shipment. He’s on the chipping Mount Rushmore for sure. We are lucky to have him.

The chips are absolutely filthy. I will be buying an ultrasonic (finally).
$1-$25 are 21 chips to a barrel in 66.7 racks
$1 are beat up and some filthy inlays, possibly water damaged inlays
$5 has multiple inlays, bacc room/chinese are the least worn, some look almost sharp with flea bites. I went through 2 racks (5 more to open) and got 120 white inlay, 26 pink/red inlay, 19 pink/blue inlay, 42 bacc/chinese inlay, and 3 grand opening (210 chips in 2 boxes)
$25 has 2 inlays, anniversary inlay slightly better condition
$100s are close to fitting 21
$500s are in good condition
$1000s are the most worn 43mm I've personally seen, but still in good condition, and I believe they are blaze orange under the grime
$5000 have sharp edges, just dirty on the edges, faces are mostly clean

Damn it for some reason I'm regretting not getting a set of those... the condition really turned me off. But the price was right and seeing your pic shows me that worn or not they are most definitely a set of chips. And I don't have them. Lol
