My position isn't in regard to companies, it's towards Casinos. The same Casinos that use every trick in the book to lure and manipulate people in under the guise of entertainment to fleece them of every dollar they can because it's "legal" to do so. Maybe we should debate the ethics and morals of Casinos instead.

My heart bleeds for every casino when they lose an insignificant amount of money relative to what they are taking because some Chip degens can get their fix. The casinos don't seem to have a problem with people taking GO $5 chips of CNY $8 chips because once again that's in their interests.

A more interesting conversation would be to discuss the morals, ethics, and legalities of card counting in blackjack. Heaven forbid someone works out that they can have an edge against the casino.

That designer proof was never printed. I asked for a sun and some plants. They seem to go together. Awhile ago u mentioned the designer similarities, I immediately puked and this passed on printing. Yuck. Oh ya that guy u sold too, is still trying to sell them. So Much for returns. Seems shady. Anyone reading know my return policy is always 100% no questions asked. I Don’t want to Perth anyone.

Ethical “Perth Mike” and wanted to return them. Mike has stated he is more into watches now. The buyer who is a great guy is now taking a loss and u can see no one else wants this crap… it’s been listed for DAys!!!!

Perhaps you could buy them. Would save you the hassle of copying the artwork again. And you would end up with a set that isn't entirely green.

And I think he's been around a couple of years longer than you.

This thread is about the perceived morality, ethics, and legalities with respect to harvesting chips from casinos, not all businesses in general.

No need to make this some sort of personal attack because we have a different viewpoint on the specific topic.

Card counting is not illegal but is just frowned upon by the casino. We could never legally detain individuals who were caught doing it. We would just read them the NRS Trespass code and 86 them. If they returned after that, then we could legally detain them. But Metro didn't care. They have more important things to worry about. If they didn't show up within an hour we had to release the detainee.

I think the majority saw it as a real thing (short to mid term mask wearing) when demand was spiking but I wasn’t actually taking a shot at you. Just thought the TP shot while in agreement was funny.

In my experience, if there was a serious issue about people harvesting chips, policies would be put in place to prevent it. Trust me, there were some dumbass policies created for the weirdest things. Legally I haven't found anything in the NRS Codes and Nevada Gaming Commission Statutes that deem harvesting illegal. I reached out to an old co-worker who is now a director of security at three properties and he just laughed at my question. He said he wasn't aware of any policies about it but would check on it when he gets a chance. But he is a busy guy and i"m not going to hold my breath for an answer. Unless someone can find the NRS code, I would worry about it.

When it comes to morals and ethics, well that is different for every person and it is up to you to decide if that violates your moral and ethical standards.

Mine comes with a return policy, even if it means returning that Movado or Rolly. Buyer beware, some are not so ethical.
