As a Scotsman: genuinely "anyone but England".
A lot of English fans think tnat means we hate the English; far from it.
English fans always take that the wrong way; we consider them our rivals; they don't consider us to be theirs. Same as England Grmany: England have a higher expectation of the 'rivalry' than Germany do.
So most Scots fans understand that we are the little brothers who may beat the big brother only one on 10 times; but when we do....... pARTY!
We hate the English media  :ROFLMAO:

Rio Ferdinand = prick
Gary Neville = prick
Ian Wright = fanny
Lee Dixon = just fuck off

Too tough to call on Sunday.

England have a huge, huge advantage playing at Wembley; but I feel like if the Italians can find their third or fourth gear, then it might just be a step too far for Southgate's men.

England 4/6
Italy 11/10

Probably true. As an Englishman I definitely like to dish out a lot of stick to the Scottish, mostly in jest, and one of my best mates growing up was Scottish.

But I find myself kind of cheering on the Welsh for example, but not the Scottish. So I guess there is more of a rivalry there than with Wales. But I can't say I'd ever consider Scotland a real rival. At least not in football terms, but then your record is even more diabolical than ours.

At least we have being historically shit in common.

How dare you say that about two Arsenal legends. Those mancs (I don't care if Ferdinand was born in London) can fuck right off though, I'm with you there.

England 48 wins
Scotland 41 wins
Draws 26

Closer than you think…

What a journey for the Danish team by the way. Gotta say well done to my Scandinavian neighbors. From the start of the tournament with Christian Eriksen, and loosing the first two games, they really stood up and showed some true greatness making it this far, and being really close to making the finals today.

Ferdinand is awful. But Dixon’s commentary has me reaching for the remote. Mind you Jenas is just as bad. We need our own commentary up here to avoid the hype  :ROFLMAO:

So @Perthmike, of corse England have completely humiliated Scotland over trhe corse of your lifetime.
But just be aware if this is.

This is a graph of a 'league table' if you want to call it that of Eng v Sco matches since the beginning of time.
Blue Sco v Eng red. We led from 1874 until 1980' ish.!
So whilst you have clealrly accelerated to top the 'group' over the last 40 years, for more that around 100 years we ruled the roost, mf.

(conscious of fact I'm a disappointed fan using a combination of Excel skills and FACTS! to try and prove very abstract point!)

Any sport my dad used to watch on telly when I was a kid he had the volume of on the TV and the commentary on on the radio. Always said it was better although he was mostly into his cricket.

In the grand scheme of things, it's all pretty irrelevant, anyway: England have one major trophy and the rest of us have none (so we're all pretty shit when all is said and done).

That doesn't surprise me, England probably have a similarly shit record against Australia. Much as Arsenal probably do against United.

I guess most of us don't really remember individual head to head results. It's more just the finish at the end of a tournament or league position. Granted that doesn't mean much with England or Arsenal recently lol, but that's how my football memory works anyway.

And like fuck do I care about games before I was born lol

Tried that but Radio Scotland (or Radio Shortbread as we call it) is fucking terrible  :ROFLMAO:

only thing coming home is further disappointment!

Forza Italia!
If you're Mancini, are you starting Chiesa on Sunday?

I think he's got the ability to absolutely destroy that English defence over 90 minutes, personally.

Ah excuse me, we hold the home Nations cup thank you very much. No major trophies!

I've always said; I been born in the wrong age, mudddaF

The 2 best managers have ended up in the final.
Southgate and Mancini deserve this game.
I was only kidding about the cas. Perthmike, be catching up with F &F for that one…all the best mate (not)

England have come together a lot more in the knock out stages but Italy might be a mountain to high

Let's just be real here, what Scottish players would even make a UK team  :ROFLMAO:

Edit. Actually to be fair Robertson probably would and maybe my boi Tierney.
Robertson, I might have given you a year ago. Tierney? No way a year ago and no way now. Shaw is in the form of his life right now.

I'll just leave this here

Two of them try to sandwich him, even if the touch was fairly light with the leg. Penalty. Shit defending
