Standard BBC pundit: average player trying to mask his sub-standard career by living his life vicariously through this current squad.

Really want to see an Italy vs England final at this point — would be a belter. Is it just me, or does Pickford still look as though he's going to cost England the trophy at some point?
 
Denmark have been the surprise package of this tournament. From the drama of their first game to the way they have comfortably negotiated the knockout stages. Would be a fairytale if they won it.

England v Italy looks to be favourite though. I think Italy would win but it’s at Wembley and England are looking good plus they haven’t conceded a goal yet.

Nail on the head with all of the above.

Seems absolutely ludicrous that England will be able to enjoy the final at home (full disclosure: I'm half English and support them behind Wales), but this whole multi-country host setup has been an absolute joke from the get-go, let's face it.
 
Being English, I’d rather face España in the final than Italia. The Spanish centre-halves look like the weak link and the Italians look like no Italian team I’ve seen before. They are a joy to watch compared to previous teams.

Still, it’ll all unravel with the Danes in the semi-final. They are a very good, well organised team and will have a plan. John Stones hasn’t had a brain fart yet and it’s bound to happen sooner or later, eg against the Danish!
 
Games today was not as fun as yesterday's games, but still pretty solid from both Denmark and England. Italy is probably my favorite to win right now, but as long as Spain doesn't win I'll be happy, lol. Obviously hoping for our Scandinavian friends from Denmark to take it all down, but it's probably not super likely. However they are having the time of their life's and zero pressure, and they have been playing some really good football as well, although arguably not as good as Italy. England still feels somewhat mediocre to me. The semis will be fun!

I beg your pardon lol. Zero goals conceded in 5 games. And 2-0 and 4-0 in the knockout round against Germany and Ukraine. It's coming home I tell you

I believe it was always the intention to have this one hosted across multiple countries.
 
I get that, Wembley is a great venue when packed out (as long as they're not all English :cool )
Could end up a Spain Denmark final, love the WC's and Euro's.....like an old friend visiting every couple of yrs for a few weeks.
Forza Italia and may Ronaldo win the GB.

Nah this shambles is Platini’s legacy. I think that originally he wanted even more host cities but a combination of him being booted out for corruption and covid stopped that.

Glad Denmark and England won, prefect results for me in another sweepstakes. Now I will win $200 if England takes it all down, regardless of Italy vs Spain. It's coming home, yo!! ("It" = $200 and "home" = Mr Winberg's wallet)

Btw, that corner kick that led up to Denmark's first goal, wasn't that a clear error?? Or did it touch the defender?

Seriously what i love is that no italian is in contention for the boot (even thou it is the country's natural shape), now the team has put up many points but it has come from many players. they have 4 players in the top 20 followed by Spain and the Netherlands with 3 players.

P.S. I would love to see Insigne rally and win the boot.
