Euros 2020 (15 Viewers)

I know it's easy to say now they're out, but I honestly didn't understand all the hype surrounding France for this tournament. Tonight was just another classic example of a team that felt like all they had to do was turn up — and they'd win.

Granted, they're the current World Cup champs, but to me they just look like 11 players who've let that - as well as their status - go to their heads.

On a serious note, I thought England were just about good value for the win tonight, despite Germany controlling the game. I can't believe Müller missed that chance to equalise though...
I missed the game but going by the reaction of the BBC pundits I thought they’d already won the Euros  :ROFLMAO:

It's been good so far but not as exciting as the home championships, Northern Ireland being the current holder of the trophy.

R2D2 scores the winner!!

* that sounds like how the BBC commentator says his name

Artem Dovbyk = R2D2  :ROFLMAO:

Never a red card BTW

Studs up right on the knee that’s always a red. He may as well have taken a chainsaw and chopped his leg off.
He’s cleared the ball. Impossible for his studs not to be up. Other guy runs into him. Nasty looking injury but unintentional. It’s a contact sport. These things happen.

I pretty much agree with all of this. Still, the rules say that it's still a red card. Swedish television have scrutinized the rules and it's a clear red since he put the other player at considerable danger (albeit unintentionally and with a "legal clearance").
