Let's say - hypothetically - say a friend of mine accidently ended up with a great deal of frozen bacon...like 15 pounds worth or so...and doesn't have room in their freezer for said quantity of bacon.

What are some ways in which bacon can be used quickly without over-baconing an entire family?

Here’s some ideas, last one specifically for this forum:

Make some bacon jerky, it'll last a lot longer and not induce instant myocardial infarctions haha.

Let’s say you never had regular bacon - turkey bacon. Is that person missing out ?

This seems like the same "problem" as is with acquiring too many chips. The solution is ALWAYS more storage.

True, but when is the last time anyone checked the expiration date on a pound of frozen bacon?

Pretty sure I'd eat expired bacon if my hair was on fire.

15 pounds don’t fit in your “friend’s” freezer? Can they move out some popsicles, expired frozen waffles, the non-chocolate part of the Neopolitan ice cream, frozen veggies they panic bought during Covid, and those frozen rasberries they lied to you themselves about using in yogurt smoothies?

My friend's got like 10 pounds in there but it's literally like a jamming risk with even one more rasher from what I saw when I was over at their house earlier.

I don’t understand the question. I mean, don’t you just eat the bacon?

sharing it across some friends would be my approach. Curious though how one accidentally ends up with 15 pounds of frozen bacon. For science lol

Knowing that sharing too much detail would result in, much like an underpriced poker chip eBay offering, a flurry activity for the poor seller...here's what I'll say.

My friend may have ordered enough to get to free shipping, accidentally misclicked to double up a portion of the order and not noticed during an internet 'burp' - then was offered more free bacon for a reason by the company and he didn't say no, because who says no to that?

So what was supposed to be like 5 pounds of 'too much, what am I going to do with all this bacon' ended up way more.
