Just because 1 or 2 guys are foolishly willing to pay 3x more than anyone else does not forever set the priceSorry guys I see wanted ads of people willing to $1k/ rack for new snappers, I’m not sure why I would let them go for anything less than what people are willing to pay.

I think all comments here so far have been pretty civil and not in the thread crapping category.Pretty sure that sale thread crapping isn't cool.
In defense of the OP, he/she is new and the current market is/was $1,000 per rack. The bottom may fall out quickly, but market is market.
Zillow used to have a "make me move" feature for buying homes that weren't really for sale.
Looks like some prior posts were edited - which is goodI think all comments here so far have been pretty civil and not in the thread crapping category.
If there are 50 people that would like to buy something, but are only willing to pay $3 for it and there are 2 others that are willing to $10 for the same item, once one of the 2 has purchased for $10, what is the market price now?
It does, and at times it can fluctuate violently in a very short period of time.........
Apparently, the market fluctuates - like stock prices - some have more volatility than others.
I don't have a horse in this race for the most part, but I just want to point out that being "civil" does not equate to the absence of thread crapping, FWIW.I think all comments here so far have been pretty civil and not in the thread crapping category.

enough.. there are other threads for this discussion.. if you aren't interested in the chips, move along. It does, and at times it can fluctuate violently in a very short period of time.
In terms of the stock market it is sort of like how a large cap stock, say MSFT or AMZN is unlikely to go up or down more than 2 or 3% in a day, but a penny stock can fluctuate 20% multiple times in a day.
