Deezer - is that your home game or an underground cash game? Doesn't look like anyone is having fun. What kinda chips are those?

More importantly how did you get the picture of yourself? I think anyone in any game I play who asked someone to take a photo of them behind their chips would be ridiculed unmercifully.

Custom ASM's from 2006 - back in the days when edge-spots other that 312 were just beginning to be offered.

These chips were once the only chips we used in a twice weekly game and they have seen more action than a Thai hooker.

Not generally in use are the: .50c, $2's, $3's and $10 chips which now generally only get used for Chinese Poker or when the host sometimes puts one extra denomination in to the game to generate action (usually the $3's which have some history with this group).

The nights chip hoard - "secondary" $5's mixed in as well:

So what game do you call when you want to generate action? SHOE with a cross obviously.
The four outer cards are the flop, four inner cards the turn and the dead center the river. Use either board to make your hands.

Action generated

What do you do when you're stuck - get it in pre, put AA in the NL hand and hope for the miracle scoop

Uhhhhh... Uh huhuhuh... Immediate half-a-chub.

I will try my damnedest to get this running next month in Florida.

Buddy's home game. My chips.

Hit quads vs a table maniac to my left, and a calling station to act before me. Maniac bets every street, calling station comes along, I just smooth call... Until the river, when maniac (who has us both covered) shoves, calling station calls, and I fist pump call.

Maniac has 63o, CS has an Ax (and both chop, playing the board).

The board pic does not show all the chips, the second pic shows my stack immediately after the hand.

Nice night. In for $100, cashed out for $415.

Lots of drama in last night's cash game, which was followed by a T1000 tournament. We had a full table of n=10 players, and let's just say it was a very bad night for trips!

This was one of the few hands where trips held up. A $15 bet from the set of trips got the flush draw(s) to fold.

The 9 kicker plays for the trip Aces, to boot @Mr. Cheese to the rail in the cash game. He'd been hoarding Lakeshore Inn quarters all night. Thanks for the recommendation @liftapint !

On to the tournament, where we find two players all in on the flop, and get the inevitable result of a set of flopped fours losing to a runner-runner straight.

And the final insult, runner-runner flush to take down a set of fives and end another tournament player's hopes and dreams.

More pics to come from next month's game....

Last night's game saw the demise of @Brian A. Meyer's flopped set of 10's (and his stack) on a 7-9-10 rainbow board... Villan had 6-8 for the flopped straight. Not seeing how that plays any differently?

Didn't snag a pic tho.

My "home" game. I spend more time at work than at home so I guess it's my second home. Getting geared up to kick off our league season finale. 30 players.

@inca911. Those pocket 4's were mine. I was so happy when I flopped the set and then horrified as I was runner runnered to a straight lol

The one hand that my pocket pair managed not to get beat by runner runner or a river card!

Oh, I remembered, but just didn't want you to have to relive it! Glad you got a pic of your river quads to break the flopped wheel. Huge swings in last night's games, must have been the dealer....

such a disappointing way to end that session. Fought my way back from the brink to just over even, expecting to double up with pocket 10s that hit trips the flop. Never even saw that straight coming. Bottom fell right out of my stomach when he said he flopped the straight.

Last hand of the night, 0.25/0.50 NLHE @Brandoodidoo (announced before the hand was dealt).

A8 vs KK vs 44 on a 7-4-8 flop.

I was fortunate to have the 44, and A8 was lucky to be acting last and get away from the hand without losing anything in the flop.

Bit of a marathon weekend of poker for @chipjoker and I (by our standards). I'm sure some of you play this much every weekend. First game Friday night at jokers. My game (these pics) Saturday night. There is very little overlap in our player pools, so we can have our games the same weekend without over stressing the player pool.

Got the Trops into play. We play the first two hours of dime/dime PLO. We are new to PLO, some newer than others. The game is very limpy/cally. My general strategy for this game is to play quite TAGy... specially in PLO. I didn't see a turn card until the last hand where I had 4433. Flopped A25, two to not my suit. It gets potted, I repot... Three callers. Turn, 2. Same bettor bets, there's a call and then I repot. Bettor folds, caller calls. River is a brick. Caller bets, puts me allin, I call. He shows 55... I guess I should've slowed down in the turn. Oh well. Had some rungood once we got into Holden, 25c/50c. Overall $300 in $980 out.

This was my stack later in the night after making change for other players rebuys... and winning a few more pots.

Here is Friday night game at my house with @Shaggy, had a smaller group of 8 (usually I get 12, some come early and some show up late). Good group of people, I got this nice hand and tripled up so I had to share it,

I got a straight flush on the flop and was first to act, I checked, player 1 bet $5 into a $9 pot, player 2 calls, hero (me) just calls.
Turn: Hero checks gain knowing some one will bet, P1 bets 10, P2 calls, Hero just calls,
River, Hero checks again, P1 Bets 20, P2 all in, Hero calls, P1 calls..

I was $120 in $194 out, not bad...I have been down at my game for 2015 so I hope 2016 will be better...

Is that not one but two wine glasses on guinness' table? lol

Yes, I brought stools over for tables as it was an accident waiting to happen :)

And since I was dealing all night, it would have been me that knocked one over

We all joke that they "mystery" stains on the table are from Tim's wild days (y)

All set up for tomorrows game. Full house with 16 players signed up and one on the wait list. Looking forward to it! Also awarding the 2015 player of the year trophy! (Please don't berate my China Clays)

Had an awesome home game tonight. Full house for the tournament and a very loose cash game to follow. I cleaned up, winning the tournament and tripling up at the cash game. Total take - $1400. I couldn't do anything wrong tonight. Some pics.

A real bad beat.

Got the SPMs in play for a .25/.25 game last night. Using some BCC hot stamps for quarters until the group buy is delivered. I had a nasty case of second best syndrome, and there were a lot of tough beats of set over set and flush over flush. But any night playing is a great night!
