Below is an overview of the process, so you know what to expect if you want me to do your logo as custom embroidery. Please feel free to ask questions here or PM me.

High level

  1. Finalize order with payment in advance (I offer volume discounts, see below)
  2. Obtain your logo
  3. Transform your logo from a graphic to stitches
  4. Stitch a test run
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed to ensure the final product is high-quality
  6. Obtain your products
  7. Stitch out your products
  8. Ship you the goodies

Digitizing

Embroidery is not printing. Just because it looks sharp on a screen, does not mean it can be sewn the same way. We can’t sew pixels, as the thread would just fall through the material. Think of each stich as a very long thin pixel.

I mention this, because whatever art you have, will need to be altered. This is a lot of work.

There will be a set-up fee for this reason. At the start, we don’t know what to charge for this fee. It may be a flat fee or it may be an hourly fee. In order to get experience and figure out what is a fair price, we are not posting what that fee will be. Currently have been doing it for sample sets. If you don’t have a sample set, we will make up a number, which may feel pricey for a single shirt, but a real discount if you are ordering multiple items. We may also be open to barter. Let us know what you’ve got.

The set-up fee is a one-time charge. We will keep the files on hand for at least a year, but likely forever.

Timing

Please expect this process to take 6-8 weeks depending upon the effort to digitize your logo, the volume you order, and the current queue ahead of you.

Products

I'm not a store and I don't have stock on hand. However, I do have good vendors. So far, I'm been very happy with their polo shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, t-shirts with pockets, polos with pockets, V-neck women's shirts, hoodies (both pullover and zippered), hats, and koozies. To view sizing and color options, you can visit my Google Drive folder.

Pricing

Shirts (all versions listed above) are $35 each ($40 for 3XL or larger)
Pullover Hoodies are $45 each ($50 for 3XL or larger)
Zippered Hoodies are $50 each ($55 for 3XL or larger)
Hats are $30 each.
Koozies are $8 each.

I offer a 10% discount at 5+ of the same item, 20% at 12 to 20 of the same item, and 25% at 21+ of the same item.

I have received questions about stitching on products supplied by the buyer. Therefore....I provide this.

All fabric is not created equal. The fabric composition (polyester, cotton, silk, blends, etc.) all react differently to stitching. Even two different 100% cotton shirts may react differently, because of the weave, the thickness, even the quality of the cotton.

Because of this, before we stitch onto a product, we must do a test-run on the same material. During the test-run, we usually have to adjust the thread-count – the number of stitches required to make the design look good, but not be too stiff or scratchy.

While we are happy to stitch onto a buyer-supplied item, we must have at least one extra of that item to run one or more test runs on. If we have the same item available (as is the case when we buy shirts form our regular vendor) we won’t need an extra, but if you are the first person to request an item on that particular fabric, we will let you know that we need an extra one.

I will also add that buyer-supplied items must be new. We have bumped up against this problem before. Old fabric that has been worn and washed will “break down” making quality stitching impossible.

Standard set-up fees will still apply, but the base cost for embroidery on a user-supplied item would be $15.

To keep up with my costs to produce items, new orders of koozies will be $7 each. Thank you for understanding. OP updated to reflect this new price.
