Windwalker’s Chipping Journey in Pr0n0grAph1C Detail (11 Viewers)

The $500, $1000, and $1 are my favorites!
Nicely done! Do all of these colors/spots exists in current chips that you will murder?

I'd like to see what the $25 looks like with a base color of mint or sherbet green. Paulson lime and moss green remind me of baby poo...

Loved seeing the debate, and was really helpful to hear people’s thoughts. In my mind, this is where I’ve ended up with my fantasy set, some small tweaks, like the spot on the $5. Added a snapper as well.
You really do understand color... Part of your work, I assume? That tweak you made to the 5 completely changed how I perceive the chip, for the better. And yet it's such a small change that I as a layman could not begin to describe it. Well done.

I really like the snapper, too.

Ultimately, I’ve realized it’s all subjective; but as a first imaginary set, I’m thrilled with this one.
I hope you enjoyed putting it together!

Agree with the $5 and snapper!

Turned my attention to an imaginary California set. Started with some inspiration from the Lakeshores $1, and then built from there. Thinking of Indian Blue or Blaze Orange for the $500.

Yeah dude, this set is sick. Love every chip. Only concern would be that that color blue on the $1 and blurple on the $25 might be a little close. But I like every chip.

I put Blue Grain and Blurple side by side using the color sample sets, and they seem different enough, I think. Blurple reads pretty dark.

Looks really good. I guess my question would be, these are Paulson colors, right? Is this going to be a CPC venture, do they have these colors to match?

It’s not a venture. Just me teaching myself how to think about chip color and spot progression. Won’t go anywhere past Photoshop. Maybe some custom ceramics. :)

It is? I was taking inspiration from the Lakeshores $1. Haven’t seen the Riffle Stein dollar yet; but will look it up.

Well, the RS is 4D14, but colour-wise, I think so

edit: Ok, now that I check, they’re similar if you swap the dark blue base and light blue spot ;)
