Scrowns have a lot more than 4 crowns on them.

"B" MOLD -- "B" and dash, repeated eight times. 1960's-present Bazaar Supply & Equipment Co., N. Y. The owner told me the mold was never used very much, especially today, and never used by a casino, rather a light chip for home games and clubs. (However, Bill Borland's Blue Book of Casino Chips describes it as a "registered casino design," no longer in use.) .........I have these worn samples for sale -- (1) blue 10, pictured; and (2) red, no denomination.

You want to buy some red B mold? I have some and no use for them becuase I can't find other colors.

Without a photo, 99% chance these are hot stamps. I would buy sight unseen if they were right next to me. How far I would drive for them at that price depends entirely on what is unsaid in the ad. Breakdown, colors, condition, full racks?, denominations.
Not exactly going out on a limb there. For 17 cents a chip, anything clay is worth it.
These are right down the road from me (staying with girlfriend for thanksgiving) so I'm going to throw my hat in the ring.

I still haven’t handled large crowns. I always thought they were beautiful, but I lost a lot of interest when I learned they weren’t made with the same heavy, leaded clay as the small crown TRKs.

I just weighed a bunch of old, worn red solids - 8g each.
I've never handled new, sharp LCrowns, but the old ones feel very buttery. While I prefer the feel of soft, new Paulsons over high pressure chips in general, when they get old and rounded down, the higher pressure chips like Burt and TRK feel great. The first TRK LCrowns that I ever bought on eBay were described as "wood poker chips".

pure speculation, but i bet it ends up being an american legion post, or similar.

American Legion Post or similar makes sense, but TRK in Massachusetts is a little more unusual. My guess is that the (deceased?) neighbour is from West of the Mississippi, or at least that's where the chips came from. Why wouldn't a North Eastern client buy from Burt/ASM like so many other NE Legions and Churches?
EDIT: That is, why wouldn't they buy from a distributer East of the Mississippi since I have no idea if Burt sold directly to customers.

Based on the picture they're spotted, and they seem to be in Excellent condition, but that's kind of hard to make out.
@MegaTon44 was in touch with the seller yesterday and I have a buddy a half hour away who might be able to facilitate that deal.
