Thanks all for the help! Just to confirm why I use a reshipper - quite a few auctions state CONUS only so it’s the only option if I want to get hold of those chips - I would say at least 50% of sales I see here won’t ship outside CONUS in my (somewhat limited) experience.

very best
Chris

I'll repeat it for future buys...if you need a trusted (and free) relay, let me know.
Hope these chips find their way to you asap

I definitely knew that’s what you guys were going to do. Kudos gentlemen. Drinks on me next time you’re up in The Bay Area.

Have to. Get to rescue some cool chips, see them in person, then send to rightful owner.

I accept your offer. Next time in there, I’m in. My best friend lives in San Mateo and I owe him a visit.

Have met a few cool guys from this area during my first few months on the forum. Definitely shouldn’t be a problem getting a couple games together!

I have nothing helpful to say... but I am a supporter. I'm looking at this rescue as if it was a movie. You guys are chip heroes! Amazing community :) we want to know the end of the story

I am holding my breath but looking like the Avalon’s might have been granted early parole! Although they have not left the building they do have a USPS tracking number. After 20 appeals to SHIPITO they have caved on their poker chip policy this one time!

Fingers Crossed

Along with what @WedgeRock stated, I have held chips and reshipped many times in my year here for members overseas, it can be a hassle getting the best price but all in all it's fairly simple, just package and grab a label offline. If I were in your shoes I would seek out a trusted chipper here for reshipping your chips or other poker goodies, over a service or company that probably doesn't give a crap how they handle your package. If you ever need any assistance in the future please feel free to reach out or PM.

Awesome advice - a fellow chipper had already reached out to me offering to help which is amazing!

I’ll second that. I already re-ship to someone in Canada. Not only is it a big convenience for him but I really enjoy mail day haha I’m currently in chip retirement and I’m just living new chips coming in vicariously through his shipments. I’d never say no to re-shipping for someone else, I enjoy it. Feel free to PM me if you need the help.
