Limp repot with :as::ac::8c::6s: to $150, THREE callers

Flop :kh::9h::4s:

Shove my last $235 in

Two guys call, another reshoves for another $1200

Guy who has over 6 grand and can't lose thinks FOREVER, eventually calls

Turn :7c:
River :kc:

Guy who almost folded shows KQQT and scoops. Almost quadrupled up. REBUY!

was in for $500 to start, ran it up to $1,100

Got quartered by Mario in that hand to put me back to even

Then Mario got me again in the Aces pot where he rivered the 3rd King, otherwise I quadruple up

Managed to turn the session around and lost only $100 on the day. Mario was destroying everyone, dude cashed out for like 8k, couldn't miss, AND he was straight action, constantly straddling and raising pots

Sigh, quartered

Me: :ah::js::9h::8s::3h:
Him: :ad::9d::8c::7d::3c:

Board: :jc::7c::2h::5h:

I bet pot $695 on turn. He just calls leaving $80 behind lol

River :qc:

Only good cards gor him are clubs or the :7s:

If he two pairs without a club I make better two pair. We both have the same gutshot straight draw.

Le ugh

Is this a juicy game? I’m a little surprised all that money is going in with just playing an A8 for the low. At least you have good high draws compared to his hand, but I thought you don’t make money drawing to half the pot.

Sorry, just fixed it. 3 hesrts on flop should be 2 hearts

Have :ah::4c::5d::7c::9h:

Limp and call a preflop raise
Three ways to flop which comes

:3s::6h::th:

Get it in, covering both opponents and agree to run twice

First board comes :9s::js:
Second board is :7d::8d:

Side pot:

I get scooped in side pot by guy with

:ad::2d::6s::tc::qc: as I whiff my low and his two pair beats me On first board

On 2nd board we chop as I make a straight amd he has nut low.

So quartered in side pot

On to the main pot, the shortest stack has KKxxx and makes a runner runner spade flush on 1st board to scoop half the main

The remaining half I get half of with my straight, and nut low guy gets his half of a half

So that spot cost me a few hundo in profit. I managed to leave the game +$600 at least

Don't you mean he whiffed his lo. Lol

I hate big o

That's more like it. Have

:ah::3h::4h::5d::8d:

Board is :5h::5d::js::2h:

I get it in on turn, my opponent only goes 1 time and slowplayed JJxxx on the flop

I river :6h: and he starts muttering to himself as I scoop!
Are you part Cuban?

When do you decide to run it once or twice? Before or after revealing hole cards?

We don't do alot of running it twice, but when I do, I prefer when it's decided before reveal...not after you find out how far ahead/behind you are.

Unless the equities are petty close, I also prefer running it three times to twice, so someone wins some chips.

Also, did he at least have a decent low draw? If he put all his money in the pot with only top set when a flush and straight draw were out there, he deserves to lose.

Flop was 55J. He had ME in a world of hurt, he was already full. He had no low draw of any consequence, think he held AJJ98 or something

This was against "crazy kevin" who annoys almost everyone

At showdown he'll start talking really fast saying "I've got the nuts, I get everything, I get it all!"

But then he flips over just the wheel while there is a flush possible, the board is paired and there are two other players in the hand.

Last night he got into a verbal argument with another player in the game over whether he called or didn't call a bet on the river, and that player wound up leaving the game over it

Then another guy got involved in the dispute while the floor was there, calling Kevin a liar. Kevin flips out and starts getting loud abput being called a liar

Then the other guy says they can step outside and Kevin freaks out, saying he isn't going to be threatened and that guy is gone, he's out of here, demanding the floor kick him out

The floor doesn't kick him out so Kevin storms off while the guy agitating him is saying "bye....bye!" In that "bye felicia" kinda way

Anyway, the moral of this story is that poker is filled with giant man babies

We have had this conversation before about running it once or twice - it has nothing to do with the comparison of hands. It is simply a question of tolerance of variance over time - Especially in games where players are holding 4 or 5 cards (the possibility of two big hands colliding is a lot higher). If u have more gamble And want A higher fluctuation in ur bank roll u run it once, if u are more conservative (and want less variance in ur bankroll) u run it twice. It has nothing to do with the Cards players are holding on any particular hand.

Won $250 at the 1/2. It broke, minbuy into 2/5/10 lineup not great

Lol. We're 5 handed and kid raises to 40, I repot button for half my $300 stack, he just calls

I flop top 2 pr and nfd against his bottom pair plus gutshot

We go twice. First board he turns the Jack and dodges river

2nd board he hits J on turn again! But I rivrr case Jack to flush

Played Omaha last night for the first time with the Zombie Poker Club. I finished up $15 after 4 hours of play.

@Anthony Martino, do you think I'm ready to go pro with you? :cool
Reading this thread makes me want to move somewhere with games readily available and go pro. Maybe we need to get on his coaching list.

forgot to mention one of my buddies was destroying the $500 max buyin 1/2 PLO game

He was in for $400 and out for $7,800

He just couldn't miss, although I did get him in this hand. Afterwards he was complaining about how he should have every chip on the table, not realizing I was a favorite even though he flopped the nuts

We got it in on the flop and I binked an 8 on the turn, no waiting
