No, but neither does money make him superhuman, above the petty flaws of mere mortals :)

So he had an outburst: it's cost him a revenue stream, it's embarrassing, etc.
That doesn't mean he's fundamentally unhappy, or that his wife is promiscuous/a gold digger, or that he's an asshole or a saint, or whatever.

It means he's a human who got triggered for the wrong reason and made a fool out of himself. That's it. It happens to the best of us.
His outburst just is a little more ridiculous and a lot more public than most outbursts.

This was his most public outburst, it's certainly not an isolated incident. I don't believe he's all that stable mentally. He's a weird dude whose public persona has over the years been groomed and edited to mostly show us the "nice guy" image that he sold so well. But that has unraveled and folks are seeing who he really is underneath.

Surprised this hasn't been posted here yet, but around the 5:40 mark on this video he issues his "apology" lol

 
I'm not saying he's a saint, but if "don't believe he's all that stable mentally", "think [his wife]'s with Dnegs for the financials primarily" and "feel he is a massive hypocrite on multiple levels" for some vlogger drama like this, I think you reeeaally should look around a bit more on the internet.

Yes, he's an entertainer and yes, he's weird sometimes, but if this is the bar you're setting for entertainer's to be mentally unstable and their wives to be golddiggers, you live in a bleak world my man.

If you think this ONE incident is the reason I feel like this, well, you'd be wrong.

Daniel has on numerous occasions preached to others about one thing or another with a holier-than-thou attitude. Whether it was dietary choices, lifestyle choices, religion, etc.

He's a born-again Christian so he lambasted Chris "Jesus" Ferguson for having the "Jesus" moniker because Ferguson is an Atheist. As if Ferguson nicknamed himself, like, gimme a fucking break.

He attended "The Choice Center" which is another sales-driven cult, kinda a Scientology Lite, to help his mental game/state (which clearly it hasn't).

Dnegs is quick to throw shade at others, preach on twitter about politics, religion, health, etc. and as a high-profile "poker ambassador" he really opens himself up to scrutiny. I don't like Deeb and think he's a massive d-bag, but there's multiple instances I saw in Dnegs Vlogs where he pokes fun of Deeb being overweight, making sure to get camera shots of Deebs massive belly, etc.

So Dnegs is one of those "do as I say, not as I do" type preachers, who tries to tell others how they should act and live their lives, while doing the exact opposite himself. Do I expect him or anyone to be perfect? Of course not. But those who've latched onto that squeaky clean persona that has been portrayed throughout his career are deluding themselves if they believe he is anywhere close to the person you were led to believe he was. You're defending a fraud, a fake, a phony.

As far as Amanda goes, I and some others in this thread (and others in other forums, in online chats, etc) feel she is with him primarily for the money because the interactions we've witnessed, the body language, the "romance" that we see, all comes across as forced and disingenuous. Good on her for finding a sugar daddy though.

As he's also an entertainer, I'm not really shocked about fake/phony. It's what entertainers are/do.
He's not a fraud tho, since he still is a very good poker player. Amazing how many of them are somewhat crazy tho, and how diverse the crazy goes.

This part is a bit more flimsy. I know couples that display love and affection every second of their godforsaken lives and I know people who seem to be mere acquaintances if you didn't know any better. Both of those have a 50/50 shot at being in a happy relationship.

The interactions you've witnessed are fragmentary. "Reading body language" is something I leave to tabloid pseudo-journalists. The romance you see says nothing.

I get that you don't like DNegs, based on what you said earlier it actually makes sense, but the parts about his wife reek of confirmation bias and just taking cheap shots.

I’ve seen him get preachy about his diet and politics and other things, but I think if you label him as “holier than thou” you maybe ust don’t like what he’s preaching.
He recently bitched that his buddy (who’s been living with him for a few months) cooks bacon in the middle of the night. Yeah, he’s bitching cause he doesn’t like the smell, but if he was the kind of dick you make him out to be, would he be letting anybody cook bacon in his house at all?
I don’t remember the Jesus Ferguson thing, but I’ll look it up.

He annoys me sometimes too, Like him or dislike him, fine, but I think most of the “fake” criticism is unfair.

I watched Negraneau's stream for the first time last night. He's definitely not all there, but he did allude to him having Tourette's Syndrome in response to a comment made during the stream. He even said himself that he's not sure if he has the "cursing" kind of Tourette's or just the physical tic component of the disease. That doesn't excuse his outburst either way, but the jumbling of words (anally feeding one's teeth to them) is indicative of a Tourette's "attack".

I hope that he is getting help and is being treated by a psychiatrist.

You know, I saw that Tourette’s comment and just assumed it was a crass joke to explain away his fit the other night. But now that I think about it, I suppose that could explain some of his behaviors that I’ve considered odd, in the past. Hmm.

I call bullshit on the Tourette's excuse. He cane handle himself for hours at the tables when playing live. You don't hear of him being warned or getting a penalty ever. So I just don't buy the excuse.

As @upNdown mentioned, it would explain a lot, especially some of the physical tics he may have. If he's really using that as an excuse, then that's pretty messed up and a slap in the face to people with actual Tourette’s.
 
FWIW, a friend of mine I went to college with saw Negraneau after a Golden Knights game, and said that he spent 20 minutes with him discussing poker strategy and snapped a couple of photos with him. Said he was a super nice guy and approachable.

No, I just did a quick search and found a few instances of him mentioning it over the past few years. And now that I think about it, yeah, he’s definitely got a blinking tic that I’ve noticed, but never thought much about.

You’re accusing him of being fake and not living up to this crafted persona. Every time he’s nice to a fan pretty much supports his persona, if that persona is being a fan-friendly guy, doesn’t it?

IF it was caused by the disease, it should be uncontrollable, NOT right after someone upsets him or his game client freezes up while involved in a hand

His reactions appear to be genuinely who he is, someone who, on the inside, is unhappy and miserable, despite the great bounty life has given him, rather than a "random" uncontrollable outburst caused by Tourretes

I don’t know enough about Tourette’s to comment. But you haven’t convinced me that he’s miserable or fake. You have convinced me that you don’t like him. And that’s fine.
