1 rack of Santa Ysabel $2.

These are mint/nm, have never touched the felt. They are chalky, crisp and sharp as hell. I bought them to use as fracs with the SA set, but no way I’m putting those beauties in play. They are so much nicer than the rest of the SA Chips which I love, but will use.
These need to be a part of some mint set maybe even T1000 or T5000 in some amazing new tourney set.

  1. STARTING BID: $250
  2. Bids must be placed using numbers (no images), in whole dollars, and in minimum increments of $5
  3. NO RESERVE. The Starting Bid of this auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
  4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
  5. No bid edits or bid retractions permitted. (note: ALL edits are logged instantly)
  6. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at 8pm, EDT, Wednesday, 6/10/2020 will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be within 5 minutes after the latest bid was posted. A bid at the close time is NOT a valid bid. Since seconds are not displayed on post timestamps, these exampleswill be used as a reference.
  7. I reserve the right to: 1) cancel the auction if no bids have been made; 2) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed.
  8. PCF (its Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.
  9. Shipping Terms: Only Domestic Buyers DBs pay $8.50 or more if they want more insurance.
  10. Payment Terms: VENMO or PPFF or buyer pays fees

Makes sense. I bet there’s a literal whole list of chippers out there somewhere that’ll want these!

Shouldn’t have a bit of trouble selling, good luck dude.
Thanks. I tried to give them to someone with a cool idea earlier in the week, but since it wasn’t a classified post (or they were unwanted???) I got almost no response. These things are epic and deserve to be in an epic set.

How much were they in the original sale? Before anyone accuses me of “thread crapping” it helps me determine how much I am willing to bid

I responded earlier and was happy to buy them at the price you paid. Now at auction, I'll pass.
You wanted 200 chips to use with your kids, not build a cool set. I said specifically I wanted to give them out for cool projects. Sorry. I want to see these things shine, not get put to use. I have my own kids I could let destroy them.

This thread seems to be trending well!

And yeah, running a possible interest thread dependent on what you think in the Collectors Corner is provably not going to get traction.

It would probably go better in the sales forums, but then again interest threads aren’t allowed there.

I also politely responded that I wouldn’t sell them all to one person. I don’t remember you asking for a rack or a couple barrels, did you? No, you never replied when I said
That’s a good idea, but I’m probably going to want to get these into a couple peoples hands. I doubt I’ll sell all 200 to one person.

You are correct, that is what I said. You said in your initial post that you had up to 200 chips you wanted to re-home and I was interested in them all.

I guess your idea of "cool" and my idea of "cool" are fundamentally different. Spending time with my kids is pretty high on my "cool" list. GLWA.

We all have lives outside of chipping that can impact what we sell and for how much. It can also impact how we respond to specific pieces of feedback.

@sir bluffs alot is one of the best dudes I know. Hands down. Great poker player and even better father. Miss you brother. GLWA!

I don’t think anyone was being overly mean, maybe a joke or something, and you have people interested in the whole lot at cost, but they didn’t meet OPs personal requirements.

I’m sure everyone here is a great individual, and we certainly don’t know what’s happening in everyone’s lives these days. I’m all for being fair, just didn’t see anything that bad (others would be crucified, and if I responded similarly, I’d have already been reported and would have an “Inappropriate Behavior” message in my inbox).
