THE PRESTIGE GROUP BUY (GB COMPLETE) (6 Viewers)

Thinking about potentially ordering a $2 limit set for $4/$8 mixed limit games... leaning towards something like this where the yellow or green would be the $2 and the black would be the $20. Don’t know which I like better.

Also likely to go with Carpe Diem for the text or something along those lines that can stand on its own and put a letter of significance in the shield/crest.

I am seriously considering this approach as well, but even more so: a 43mm T100-base set (with high-roller T500-base option) using low-contrast turquoise 100, purple 500, salmon 1000, lemon 5000, red 25k, and white 100k.

The white chip is quite a bit bolder than the rest, and may get replaced with grey or blue.

One reason for going monochrome with these is that I already have a p5woody-designed 43mm hybrid set that uses those charcoal/blue, lavender/beige, and yellow/red colors for the T100, T500, and T1000 denoms..... which look great together, but I'd like this set to be a little different.

I'm also considering doing a B shield with BGinGA text, but not sure if I really want to personalize at the expense of resale value....

I really wanted to incorporate the blue, salmon, and white somewhere but I don't want to regret my choices. But on the other hand maybe I need secondaries

I thought samples were going to be an option... is it also 100 minimum for dealer buttons I believe was asked. Anyone willing to allow a piggy back for samples let me know! Beautiful design @p5woody as always buddy!

Hi
May I ask what‘s the maximum amount of 43mm chips to fit into a mfrb international? Trying to fill as good as possible :)
That'd be 400pcs maximum for 43mm and 500pcs maximum for 39mm. I know the MFRB can have more chips in but the deal we had with Tommy is that he doesn't need to re-open our boxes and repack each chip, he'll be simply putting our pre-pack boxes into the MFRB without opening them.

So it be 2 mfrb for max order of 800 43mm chips? I probably order 800 then. You can change the prestige into another word for free right?

That is correct.

Small tips here: if you are planning to have a few DB's you might want to get 790pcs 43mm chips, in order to leave some space to fill in the DB's with 2 MFRB

@SUN-FLY Poker Chips I'm curious if seating chips would be possible as part of a larger order. I know you're allowing us to change text and denominations. Is having, say, 10 chips with text like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... doable? Or is that just too much of a change.

Well, I'm not going to say no, however I think our inhouse designer is going to get crazy for this particular request, she'd be possibly like :wtf:...

The other factor is that the more denoms you have, the higher chances that a mistake might take place since it is very hard for us to handle them 100% correctly, afterall all labels are sticked to chips by hand, and human does make mistakes.

Yeah, I totally get that. I don't want to push it :) Great group buy - looking forward to getting my text/denoms together for my order.

Sure - but then that already includes shipping. And I can semi-customize at that price. I've never seen semi-customs that low. Like, I can get a whole set of green/orange chips that say BOOGER on them with a big, fat B in the shield, and it's still only 60c
Good thinking.

I'm getting a set of these for my cousin, who's nickname happens to be boogers.

Great job on these Woody!

This is a great deal.

Hi guys, is T250 based breakdown a thing? I was thinking
8*T250 (fushia)
8*T1000 (turquoise)
4*T5000 (salmon)
7*T10000 (white)
2*T50000 (red or lemon)

I though T25 would not work with these colors but I'm still a newbie...

1) would that be a good color combination for starter? I like the black and purple chips too (and all the others but I have to chose some!) if a color would need to be replaced in your opinion...
2) any better breakdown suggestion that would work with my color selection?

I'm thinking about 400 chips for a group of 12 max (2 tables of 6max or one table of 10 or less if less players)

Thank you for the help!

Well, divide by 10 and you have a standard T25 structure. It all works out the same.
400 chips should be enough. Have enough chips for however many rebuys you need.

ok but the colors will not be weird like that? T25 fushia, T100 turquoise, T500 salmon....

I'm saying you can use whatever denoms you want. Base T250 with your colours are just fine, as long as the denom is clearly visible on each chip. Just use a standard T25 blind structure and multiply everything by 10. Easy peasy!

No. I suppose you *could* do it, but I suspect it would cause unnecessary confusion with no apparent gain to show for it.

And having both T5000 and T10000 denominations isn't a good idea, either.

You're better off doing either a T100- or T500-base, and feel free to use any colors you like. That's what clearly readable denominations are for.

Alright, gonna play along here for a minute, and beg for some help ... ideal color scheme for the below, knowing that I have strong feelings towards the Purple - Salmon - Turquoise

.25 x 75
.50 x 75
1.00 x 100
2.00 x 25
5.00 x 100
20.00 x 25

Really just trying to get extra colors in with the .50 and 2.00 I know they aren't needed; omit if you feel better!

So going the semi-custom route, as long as total order is 300 chips, SOME can be custom? Or minimum of 300 that are ALL semi-custom? In other words, I could order 250 standard chips plus 50 that have custom amounts on them, I assume?

What's the difference between a Polyinno DB and a Polychrom DB? They look the same to me, other than a slight difference in shading on the label. Already answered.

I assume as part of the semi customization that the "$" could be left off of a tournament set if desired?

There are 32 unique chips, meaning we'd only need 4 orders of each chip to meet the 100 minimum for sample sets.

In fact, If I were designing my dream sample set, in addition to the standard chips, I'd like to see a T2000 chip (no $) and a T10,000 chip. I'd put the T2000 on the Lemon chip and the T10,000 on the Salmon chip. Honestly, I'd like to leave off the "$" on everything 25 and above for a tournament set. And then do a $100 cash chip on the Fushia color. If those 3 were added to both the 39mm and the 43mm there would be 38 total chips for a complete sample set. 8 complete sets like this would make 304 and meet the 300 chip minimum.

Are there 7 other members (or more) that would be up for a set that looks like this? Running the numbers including tariff, shipping to the person distributing, and SFRB shipping (CONUS only) to each member, the total comes in a little under $50 each. This is all assuming the answer to the first question above regarding semi-customs is yes. And if you didn't want the non "$" chips or any other unique chips, that should be doable too as long as the 300 chip minimum is reached. Would need at least 9-10 total sets if some are just the 32 chip standard sample set.

1) It has to be minimum of 300pcs that are all semi-customized per order, for example you could have 300pcs custom chips plus 100pcs non-custom together as an order.
2) In short the PolyInno has a decal while the PolyChrom doesn't.
3) That is correct.

The semi-custom option is neat.

OK, thanks.

No quantity limitation on each color. So any order that includes 300pcs custom chips could have a single unique chip, correct? (Just not a DB)

Anybody putting together an order with semi-custom chips that would be willing to add in the 38 chip sample set I designated above to their order? Located in the Houston area would be even better - no shipping! I'll come pick up. Not that shipping is a big deal for 38 chips.

I plan on running a limited group buy for Prestige sample sets (at least enough to fill a single MFRB), and will have a sample set order thread up later this weekend.

It will include *at least* all fourteen non-custom 43mm chip designs, plus one each of the four different non-custom dealer buttons (although that may change due to space constraints).

Please do not pm me with requests or questions.

@SUN-FLY Poker Chips: Will 280 x 43mm chips plus 80 dealer buttons fit into one of your standard packing boxes destined to be reshipped as a MFRB?

If not, how many 43mm chips get displaced by a single dealer button? Or asked another way, how many 60mm dealer buttons will fit into your packing box?
