Based off of the 2019 counterpart here:

Better late than never I guess?

Likely to happen:
-Jim brings more chips to the community
-The hoard of Horseshoe Binions is unearthed and prices of these chips plummet. Can argue this is already happening...
-rumors of Angel/GPI once again pondering a fantasy line for the home market surface after they encounter record low sales in 2020, but ultimately never comes to fruition.

Possible to happen:
-a third Sunfly 43mm group buy becomes the new hot ticket in town. Not quite on par with the BW's but in the same neighborhood.
-Angel Playing Cards group buy

Long shot:
-lots of casinos bankrupt from COVID fears and Jim and Todd bring even more chips to the community. More likely for 2021, but we may see the start of it towards the end of the year
-new NAGB chips hit the classifieds. I don't know of any, for the record.

Let's hear them! :)

Feels as though there is something big in the pipeline, for sure: I think there are a lot more twists and turns to come as far as the Binion's Horeshoe chapter is concerned.

I'd love to think that there's another NAGB in the works, too, as we are due some spectacular new pr0n — unlikely with the current pandemic situation, however.

Likewise, I've got a feeling that with Vegas casinos tightenening their hygiene rules, harvesting in bulk is going to become a lot, lot harder — especially when it comes to asking for uncirculated / newer chipes directly at the cage.

I think forum members — myself included — will become much more reluctant to sell their current Vegas chips as a result.

My bet is on Jim and Todd having a huge inventory - while we know a lot of casinos had third parties provide chip cleaning services, it would not surprise me if a lot of others used it as an excuse to replace the chips they use instead of cleaning them

If there is another NAGB and I’m not included I won’t be back again. Just sayin.

I think the pandemic would make it more likely. Angel/GPI is going to have a shit year. This makes it more likely some sales guy would be willing to hook up a friend of friend with a set.

This is the entire Nevada casino chip and token report for the month of April.

Ouch.

Sweet, 43mm blaze orange solids just got made! Money Heist!!!

Security will be at a minimum with the shut down. Now is the time to strike.

We'll need a lock picker, a getaway driver, an acrobat, a George Clooney type, a @Josh Kifer , and probably an explosives guy? Actually let's get two explosives guys just in case.

I think we've got this.

I know a @Josh Kifer!

I think this is shortball thinking. Chances are that you (or I) don't even know the folks involved, so how could we realistically expect to be included?

Yeah, that's true. But on the other side of the coin (or chip, in this instance) — and as somebody else in this thread eluded to, I think — maybe it'll just be quicker, easier and more hygienic for them to order new chipes? If so, that would mean a massive payday for GPI / Angel, and much less pressure for their sales people to hit their targets.

I think we need two Josh Kifers instead.

One to mill the lock open, and the other to troll the security team while the rest of the crew gets to work.

Not funny. One of the blue boards first members as well. Just because I don’t litter the site with bullshit doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be a valued member. I know more history about crap that’s been pulled than 95% of the chatterboxes here. All of these secret buys have sucked but I love chips so much I’ve stuck around. Buying chips in secret for an average of $1.50 each and turning them for 8 or 9 bucks each isn’t funny. I got your shrug.

Haven't been around to get upset about it, but it's a terrible look for sure. I mean some poor schmuck like me is lining up to pay .97 a chip to settle because I can't be bothered hunting down pieces for eternity, but could find that missing .53 if needed.

The other thing that is somewhat puzzling, if said producers see the side sales at these super inflated prices, why are there not more opportunities coming to sell publicly in the $3-4 range? They wouldn't be selling at cost for $1.50 why not blow it right up?
