Thank you sincerely for the kind words but I would be remiss to let you think that I have done much, if anything, for CPC. I was just very VERY thankful to be in a position to give back to CPC what was already theirs.

I am ecstatic that CPC has brought back the excitement and anticipation of the Custom Chip Industry! I don't think we, as a community, can thank "The David's", Jim B, and everyone at CPC enough for not only bringing Custom Clay Chips back to the masses! but that they have done so with such passion, communication, and the willingness to go places that even old ASM hasn't gone! ... at least for some time! My Redbelly T25K, and Tom's (Hitching Post) STUNNING Commemorative chip are just a couple of examples!

I think we all are enjoying the artistry of Jim B. and the passion of Owners that care!

After witnessing the sickening slide of ASM/LAS in 2013 this year has been an amazing transformation for the overall chip community! I am REALLY getting a kick out of all the new orders and ideas being generated as a result!

Combine CPC with PCF and Tommy's passion, and all the fun that's been going on here!? Well! All I can say is I am looking forward to what the future might have in store!

You are welcome for the story and for the pr0n of the molds! It was a difficult story to NOT tell! and my privilege TO finally tell it![emoji41]

WOW! Those pics are incredible! I wish CPC would revive the Roman Mold & make the Ewing Mold available to the public (versus casinos only).

With the Paulson exit from the home market, I may be getting 1000-1500 custom CPC's in the near future (after I research more what people are saying about product quality via the new ownership). I know there were issues @ ASM over their last few years from reading on CT.

And that is one of the most beautiful custom ASM sets I have seen to date...awesome edge spot colors & pattern/selection & sweet inlay design!

Buy without fear from the current CPC. The old chip master Jim B is back in charge of production, and the new regime has wonderful customer service.
 
What an awesome story and pics! At the same time I'm coming back from a break in chipping and finding out the good news about CPC! When I left I thought ASM and custom chips were done for good. I have a few sets as well as individual chips on the old school molds. My dream is to have a set of each of my favorite old school molds. Already have a few. Now that CPC has things running well again might need to get more DIASQ MD50s in the future. I do hang out on TheChipBoard sometimes and have to say there is no one better than David Spragg to be part of this resurrection as he always seemed to be a good all around guy and ambassador to the chip hobby. So it's good to know the people at the helm truly love this hobby and aren't just in it for a quick buck. But hopefully they do make that money and keep things going well financially too.

I might have to save some of your pics as desktop backgrounds, and Tournament Director backgrounds.
(My gang might not like me replacing the current TD pics though, lol)
 
I got a set of Roman Mold chips made in 2007 and there was quite a bit of problem manufacturing them and getting good quality. Specifically, there was quite a bit of spinners. They made it right, and the chips are just fine. From what is been posted, the equipment is too old to make chips without a very high rate of defects.

I don't have a "finished" CSQ mold... there is a hope that I will be able to get one finished in the future. I'm in the process of moving so all things Redbelly are safely, but sadly, packed away...[emoji22]
The "awakening" is unknown at this point...[emoji57]
 
@Redbelly Did you happen to hear where the suits mold ended up in this odyssey of yours? I know it was used by BCC but I think it was on loan.
I'm not even sure if the molds are universal between manufacturers. It's my favorite mold so I've always wondered :)

Here is one of the first pictures in my thread with a close up of the HOB of that mold you are referencing. All HOBS and cups were returned to CPC except a number that I was allowed to retain. The suits cup is not among the ones that I have. I believe most, if not all, the items I returned made their way into a museum. Not sure of its journey but ASM/ CPC had at least the HOB at some point.
