Hello everyone! I probably first started poking around in these here forums about 6 or 7 years ago, just dipping my toes into finding a nicer set of chips for a home cash game. I didn't have AS much of a disposable income. Wound up with a decent little Milano set with lots of 25c denoms.

Now I'm back and thought I'd actually talk to some people. There's so much I still have to learn. If anyone has ideas for a tournament style (no currency symbol) chip set that is somewhere in the $500-600 range maybe, I'm all ears. Probably would only need enough for like two tables ever...not a lot of people into poker here in NC.

Speaking of which, if you're near the triad and wanna play and maybe study the game hit me UP.

Thanks for taking the time to read. Look forward to chatting with you all.

Thank you thank you! Happy to be here, this is such a cool community.

Welcome! I've also recently rejoined PCF and actively posting (and purchasing!) even though my account is quite old. The latest 'value' purchase seems to be these Tina chips that everyone keeps talking about. I ordered a sample set... and I really like them! Sounds like they'd be in your price range and they have a lot of really cool colors and designs available. Check out the Broken Arrow Card Room forum page to see info on the group buys. Pretty reasonably priced chips for how nice they!

Thanks! I'll definitely check them out.

Where in NC? I am in Calabash on the coast.

Oof I'm in the Piedmont Triad couple of hours away from the both of you, but I'd be down to make a trip some time for a fun event!
