I think it may be a good idea for everyone who's joining to contribute something, and it would make for a great prize. It doesn't have to be money, it could be anything. This way the cost is divided equally between all involved, and the more people who participate, the better the prize will be. Maybe perhaps we say, $20 min for those who want to play. You can either send $20 or you can send something that we agree upon is worth $20 bucks in chips. Sample set, shuffle stack, card setup, etc. I just think the prize would ultimately be pretty awesome once we combine everything.
In the end, you could end up with,
$100 cash, a card setup or 2, a couple sample sets, and a shuffle stack.
I think the community is creative enough to make this a very very interesting prize. Hell, we could even agree to use the cash to buy something interesting in the classifieds.
