I watched the trailer for The House on facebook and in one quick two-second scene, dice went flying by these:

I wonder if this is just a piece of stock footage from somewhere. All the other gaming scenes show generic dice-looking chips.

You can see Jason Mantzoukas and Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler n the background in the craps tables scene where the Wynn chips are visible. I'll bet there's a scene where Mantzoukas takes them to a legit casino to see how everything works and the Wynn chips are in play there and then when they open up their own underground place they buy garbage chipes.

You're right.
So some prop house has some of these chips. I wonder how many?

Based on the shot of the craps table with the chips on the side, there is a ton of these still in the wild. These aren't my favorite chips, but any Paulson set with 15-20K worth of chips in them are amazing to look at. I miss those PNY pics where Button Potato from the Blue Wall had 8-10K individual chips. Incredible picture.

Those chips look horrible in those stacks! Nice chip when looking at the surface but way overrated. Except now Jason Mantzoukas, Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler "Might" have touched them in an onscreen "Casino". Of course any that are currently in the hands of forum members remain at the same price since they were only touched by some singer and possibly another actor or actress!!!:D

And maybe Donald Trump!! :rolleyes::eek::eek:

Interesting trailer, and nice drop in of the Wynn chips. That said, there are three different types of chips shown in that trailer. Either there is a ton of B-roll being implemented and the final cut is still being edited, or the Continuity Supervisor sucks at his job.

PS: Kinda weird that the studio puts titties in a public trailer...

Thanks for posting. This actually looks like it might be a funny movie.

From the trailer, it seems like the Wynn chips are supposed to be at a "real" casino and the dice chips are supposed to be from their home casino (i.e., "The House").

There are at least four different sets of chips being shown in this film trailer.

Some are obviously pretty cheap blank red-white-blue plastic solids, along with a set of hot-stamped red-green-black chips (might be slugged chips, or might actually be Langworthys). There is one set of colorful solids with five or six denominations on the roulette table that ~could~ be PGI ceramics, but it's pretty hard to tell from the trailer.

They do have a butt-load of Wynn chips at that craps table. Lol at using non-currency chips on a casino gaming table.

FYI, there are at least two versions of the trailer...

From the official trailer:

I think those bikinis might be CGI...

I'm guessing it probably is. It appears that they did principal photography in 2015 with an original release date of Summer 2016. That would jibe with PGI's info. Looks like the release got pushed back another year to this summer, for whatever reason.
It's a shame PGI only made 300 chips for this project. It would be really cool to have a playable set from a big movie. You can play a small game with 300 chips, but that's below the minimum for anythibg but a half table.

There's a 'Red-Band' trailer going around, I saw it last week, and then there's the "normal" Green Band trailer for all of us virgins.......:ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

And now for my rant:

F*%(ing FCC and pansy-ass Americans that can't handle swearing or see S#i+ on TV......:mad::mad:
