Hi guys. I wanted to sell some chips. I joined. I was told I had to post. I posted. I was taken down for not posting a price for chips that come up for sale once or twice a year. I posted a ridiculous price. I got responses. I got other responses. I did not and will not sell the chips here. The experience for others coming in is, umm, terrible.

For the record, my "confused gif" in your thread (link to comment) wasn't due to any confusion with your listing, it was due to my confusion over you being a complete dickhead to @Seeking Alpha Social Club in your previous comment(s).

I can understand the pushback and lack of ease the forum has for new users but don’t make it harder than it is. 90% of the people figure it out.

Man, there’s a lot of mean stuff going on in here.

If you are not careful you can get your response times cut to a minute each - or maybe you’ve got a pass and you don’t have to worry about those things.

It is not difficult to sell nice chips. They are sold on eBay and FB everyday by people with no selling experience. Also, sold here everyday by putting in just a little bit of effort.
I’m sorry that things seem so difficult to you. I’m sure it happens everywhere you go in the world. Keep the chips. May they bring you some enjoyment or feelings of nostalgia.

his original sales post said he’d already been booted from FB and eBay trying to sell these before showing up here for his first attempt. poor fella just can’t catch a break - if only there were some obvious connecting factor to blame...

@raynmanas I saw that too. Places specifically designed to be easy to use for people with no selling experience. I believe him when he says HIS experience was terrible and I feel bad. Some people just have issues dealing with other people. There are countless people here willing to help new users if said user is capable of accepting help.

Funny thing, I have never had problems selling here. Follow some simple rules, like listing a price, and it’s a given someone will buy at a reasonable price. REASONABLE being the operative word.

I, as a very new member, felt very welcomed immediately. It is not hard at all to get behind what goes into a sales post. When I read what was going on in the original sales thread I was just blown away by how ignorant and sensitive some people can be.

I'm pretty stupid, yet I figured out how to successfully sell stuff on here...
