WTP is starting games in my area. Anyone played? They are free to play just curious about the experience if any, that someone here has had.

I played bar poker for a couple of months in early 2011. Met a couple of players that got me a seat into a weekly home tourney. Aggressive blind structures, good fun. That is until one shithead ruined the game with his excessive drinking week after week. Food/drink purchases earned you additional chips. Winner received a $20 or $25 gift certificate.

Although not an organized WTP event, I imagine you will find similarities.

I stopped going to bar poker when the one by me changed the blind structure and created a jump from 200/400 (Level 4) to 1000/2000 (Level 5). I kid you not.
