The Winner’s Circle Casino was a planned casino in Las Vegas in the late 90’s. The casino never opened and the chips were eventually sold in the Paulson LV store. I can’t find any concrete reason why the casino never opened, but it probably fell through due to the gaming license or financing. Since the casino never officially opened, it was not subject to the same rules as most cash chips in Las Vegas that have to be destroyed. If this is not correct, or if someone has additional information, I would love to hear it.
This escalated quickly. It started out as an incredible eBay find. Once those chips were secured, I set out looking for more. One of the best chippers on the site, @PAZ, the only Chipper I know who had a playable set, agreed to sell me his awesome set.
It’s definitely too top heavy on the one dollar Chips and I would love to trade some for fives. Knowing the chips were sold wholesale you would think they would be more readily available, but I usually only see singles on eBay. If anyone else has a count of how many were actually available and sold in the Paulson store that would be awesome.
I did use a bit of AI to enhance the color since my lighting would never get right. Also think they would highly benefit from a nice oil bath.
The count is1352 chips total. I have fifty more $25’s and two $1’s not in the pics.
Last pic from the Chip guide.
Hope you enjoyed the story and pics…
