Ahhh.. thanks.. I had no idea what the "49" meant, but I just looked it up on your Mixed Game Resource here. I've never played that variant, but it sounds cool.Someone (Art?) mentioned Dramaha 49 as his favorite.

Finally home. (Sometimes, after a dead night, there’s no place like it.)
Not a great night, but the highlight of the evening is that I may be able to help get a new set of chips designed specifically for HCL. Cali colors, and an HCL-specific inlay. Nick seemed really into the idea. I’ll keep you posted on progress there.
https://bestlifeonline.com/club-sandwich-name-origin-story/disagree with club sandwich....but would love to be proven wrong!
It's what now?Somebody please chat text the commentator that it’s “monochrome”, not “monotone” for a single suit flop. That’s driving me crazy….
This is very unimportant. But the last two paragraphs of that article basically allude to the possibility that it's named a club sandwich after a clubhouse. I feel like most of the clubs I see DON'T have chicken so it just doesn't make sense to me.
This could be the next great PCF debate!!!This is very unimportant. But the last two paragraphs of that article basically allude to the possibility that it's named a club sandwich after a clubhouse. I feel like most of the clubs I see DON'T have chicken so it just doesn't make sense to me.

I just assumed it was one of those things incorrectly adopted. I swear I see monotone used much more in poker than monochrome.Mono = one
Chrome = color (suit)
Tone = sound
Monotone is often incorrectly used, IMO. Ben Stein is monotone.
YUSSSSS .....LET IT ALL BURRNNNThis could be the next great PCF debate!!!
Monotone is used much more, but I would have to concede it’s not correct.I just assumed it was one of those things incorrectly adopted. I swear I see monotone used much more in poker than monochrome.

I think it’s a little bit of who’s available and who’s not. But I do have an open invitation, Ryan and I are buddies.@Windwalker, how do they determine who plays each week? Do you basically have an open invite and can go play whenever you want to?
Although "monochrome flop" might be more accurate, the term "monotone flop" is commonly used in both written and spoken English. It's interesting that a google search for "monochrome flop" produces results for both monochrome and monotone flops. I suspect that this is or will be yet one more example of a word or phrase that is so widely used that its usage becomes acceptable.you probably hear it. as @inca911 mentioned, one does not "see monotone"
Ace of clubs...Mono = one
Chrome = color (suit)
Tone = sound

You’re most likely joking, but it’s monotone, as in a dull, boring, lacking variety single suit flop/board.Somebody please chat text the commentator that it’s “monochrome”, not “monotone” for a single suit flop. That’s driving me crazy….
