ugh I just cant get over how angling armenian mike is. it bothers me even more that the announcer says stuff that alludes to Mike not know what he is doing with the betting line. he knows exactly what he's doing. I guess I do appreciate the warning to new players to make sure you know the action ahead of you...just annoying to me that you have to watch out for that at a casino-dealt game

Finally home. (Sometimes, after a dead night, there’s no place like it.)
Not a great night, but the highlight of the evening is that I may be able to help get a new set of chips designed specifically for HCL. Cali colors, and an HCL-specific inlay. Nick seemed really into the idea. I’ll keep you posted on progress there.

This is very unimportant. But the last two paragraphs of that article basically allude to the possibility that it's named a club sandwich after a clubhouse. I feel like most of the clubs I see DON'T have chicken so it just doesn't make sense to me.

I think it’s a little bit of who’s available and who’s not. But I do have an open invitation, Ryan and I are buddies.
Although "monochrome flop" might be more accurate, the term "monotone flop" is commonly used in both written and spoken English. It's interesting that a google search for "monochrome flop" produces results for both monochrome and monotone flops. I suspect that this is or will be yet one more example of a word or phrase that is so widely used that its usage becomes acceptable.

You’re most likely joking, but it’s monotone, as in a dull, boring, lacking variety single suit flop/board.
Monochrome doesn’t make sense either if you wanna use the single color definition. Should players start describing a two heart one diamond flop a monochrome flop?
