I think so. His shove is normally pretty polarizing, but IIRC he shoved over your river bet. That, to me, tilts his range to strong hands and makes top two two pair much more of a bluff catcher with the straight and the flush on that board. He had AJ of clubs so I think your fold was correct against his range and was of course correct against the specific hand he had.

I remember betting out on the flop as the first to act; primarily because I wanted to see someone had a flush. After that, I was primarily calling to see if I could make a full house. When he went all in on the river, I knew he had caught the flush right away, but I debated a bit about whether perhaps he had something like the ace of clubs and a king, which would justify some of his betting. Eventually I decided he had to have a flush.

He raised your flop bet which you then 3 bet and he flatted. you XC the turn and lead river.

From the way you played it, there was some meta going on or you levelled yourself into a strange line. I'm just curious about your thinking on the river lead.

I think I was flip flopping on whether he had made a flush or not, honestly. I had an instinct that he did, and I didn’t listen to it. I only know Andy by reputation, and I think I was second guessing instinct because he’s known to be such a strong player. Head games with myself. Sigh.
 
Still watching @Windwalker ! This has been fun. I have no doubt Garrett is pretty damn good, but man is he getting a little lucky too.

Kick some ass next week. I will be tuned in.

Was weird watching that hand again. I need to trust my instincts more. I definitely slow played the flop, but the turn made me balk, I felt like he made something. Which is why I checked and then just made a small bet. I almost folded his raise, but just had to see it.
 
He had JJ and snap folded when you went all in. After the hand he kept talking about it and it seemed to get in his head.

Next hand he called down Gal who hit a flush on the river with a pair of 3s on a 9 5 Q K 4 board.

A couple hands later he folded a nut flush draw on the turn on a paired board when George went all in on him with a wheel draw. A on the river would have given him a better A.

I didn't watch a lot of Double M's other hands but the commentary made it seem he didn't really get out of line much.

My thoughts exactly - that 100% felt like an angle move by Gal the way he threw the chip in there.
