If I buy these chips off craigslist, what blinds should I use? What if I use antes?

Ceramic poker chips 600 - $200

Ceramic poker chips
8 sealed packs of 1/4's. (200 chips)
& 8 sealed packs of 0's (200 chips)
& 8 sealed packs of 20's (200 chips)

Pass - those colors look way too close to each other. A blue or black chip would make it better.

Also, the "1/4" is really strange and would bother me big time. 25c > $0.25 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>1/4 (lol..srsly!?!)

I remember seeing these before but can't remember if these were intended for poker or for something else.

What Links said... I saw these before somewhere, and thought these were the most useless chips possible... "O"? Huh? Aside from the absolutely useless (for Poker) denominations, the colors (as Links stated) are somewhat undesirable (read, horrible). And at that price ($.33/each), I think you could do way better.

If anybody can come up with a good tourney structure for this, BGinGA can do it.

I raise you a stack of zeros. But I bet 1/4. Yeah, but that's only 1 chip. I bet 20.

Sorry, this thread was intended to only be a joke. I'd never buy these if they were the last chips on earth.

No imagination.

The 1/4 chips are 5's and The O chip is 100.

Blinds:

40/80 Ante 10
60/120 Ante 20

$1.25/$2.50 Cash game:

0's are 5's, and the 1/4 chips are $1.25.

Bank: $5,250.

Hard to tell from pics of just those three chips, but this is actually one of my favorite ceramic chip sets of all time. I had a full sample set that I ended up giving away as tournament prizes. Seriously considered getting a full set at one time, but felt they were over-priced compared to other ceramic sets.

The colorful Scarab chips were available on the now-defunct Trident Cards web site, and featured a complete line-up of chips ranging from 1/4 up to 5000 plus the 0 (ncv) chip, and an awesome 2" ceramic dealer button. I posted a pic here on PCF just the other day (probably can search for scarab if really interested).

And,

Chips in hand, my friend... chips in hand. Always get samples before making a judgement.
