Heya,
I'm creating a hybrid Cash/Turney ceramic set and looking for some feed back before sending to print.
I'm planning on getting 600 chips to be used for either cash or tournament (not at the same time, max 9 people).
25s/100s are to be used for either or.

I know I'm sharing the white/blue color, but the idea is you would never have a 1 or 1000 in play at the same time.
I'd like to keep a small color pallet with a theme, whether its the cash or tunny game.

The yellow is a kinda wild card chip, that can be a frac, bounty, ex..

Any print considerations / color / design limitations that anyone can for see would be a great help!

Cheers

The issue is the 25 and 100. You will want to design 2 of each, with different base colors and up your chip count to 800.

If you don’t plan on playing 1/1 or higher you can get away 40 25s and 20 100s on the cash side. For a STT you only need 400 which is 4 denoms

Welcome! Creative designs, but most of the chip-face look exactly the same. I would rather have some differences in the face of the chip. Are schmicks an inside joke? just make sure you still like the design if you stack 20 of them with them sporadically being upside down.

Thanks, but why is that an issue sharing the 22/100 denominations?
I'll only be hosting one small game or either cash or tournament. The idea was save money on chips by using a couple denominations for either or.
my break downs looks something like this:

blank 40
1 135
5 110
25 80
100 80
500 60
1000 60
5000 35

for a tournament I'd start each player with:
25 8
100 8
500 6
1000 6
5000 2

Cash (1/2):

1 15
5 12
25 8
100 1 (optional or ++)

Cheers, Yeah A shmick is a bit of an inside joke for our cat (a snack, she eats a lot).

Yeah the text on the side was meant to just give the sides a bit of texture.
I can look into just using some fort of fish/paw that would hold up in either directions

I'd change the cat eyes and paw print to match the base color. I'd also go a darker shade of blue for the water to separate it more from the blue base color chips.

Welcome!
If you go for Tinas - the order got to be in 25pc. steps.
25/50/75/100/125…etc.

Good luck for your set!

If you make the background on the tourney set white instead of black, then there can’t be any mixup.

But I would just use completely different colors for one set.

Because those chips could be used in both, and an unscrupulous player might pocket some 25s or 100s in the tourney once they have less value, and use them in the cash game. Then your box winds up light.

You’re gonna say that you know all your players well and you trust them completely. But believe me, humans sometimes do very surprising things, even when you think you know them inside out.

Fair point.
While I have 1/5/25/100 for cash, The buy in would be micro stakes like €10 for 100bb. I just don't want .10c designed on the chips. I could possibly just go denomination less for cash and use shapes. Like the yellows for more flexibility.

They came in quick!
Supper happy, the colors came out much better to some of my other ceramics I got printed else where.
They have a tiny bit of grit on them so they are not slippery at all. No spinners I found so far. The Blacks came out great.
They even got the dots for the fish eyes on the side design printed, I thought would be to small. Wish I ordered a few more, but I don't play more than 6 handed really so should be fine for now.

Thanks for the feed back everyone!
