Looking for some advice please.....

Visiting Vegas from UK on a Tuesday - Sat in December. Have booked an apartment behind Horseshoe.

Been playing poker live for about 3 years and would consider tournaments $100-$300 buy in. Can you advise what tournaments offer the best value....also would like to try different casinos so I get to explore. One decent tournament a day with back-up options in case I go out quickly would be much appreciated if you can help.

I'm in Vegas now. You've got a number of places with dailies right near you. $75 at Planet Hollywood (they have a $200 Saturday 4pm deepstack), $100 at Horseshoe (very nice room but haven't played there yet) and $160 at Caesar's (room renovated and re-opened within the last year). The all allow re-entries.
Unless it's a special deep stack, the structures are all the same among the Caesar's properties: 20K start, 100 BBs, Big Blind antre and the blinds double Levels 8-10 after they race off the 100s and 500s. Right before the final table when we were 5-handed I was out table leader ... and had 25 BBs.
