For your consideration, we have a limited edition 4-chip sample sets from the Grouse Mountain Lodge, Kalispell, Montana. These chips represent a significant portion of all the chips known to be currently available on the secondary market, with the total being LESS THAN 1 RACK of each denomination (of 10, 20, and 100). Pictures as follows:

Each sample set will consist of one (1) $5 chip, (1) $10 chip, one (1) $20 chip, and one (1) $100 chip. All chips are Paulson THC mold. Each chip has unique edge spot colours (except $5) and golden shaped inlay (not "old, faded white"). Condition looks to be very good casino used. (Note: the blue-green Cavanaugh $1 chips in the picture are NOT part of this sample set. Please see separate auction thread for those chips.).

Price for one sample set is $25, or two for $45. Maximum 2 sets per purchaser. Shipping in an appropriate-sized bubble mailer is included for Canada/US mailing addresses. International purchasers to pay actual shipping costs. Shipping to US addresses will be done from the US. Shipping to Canadian and International addresses will be done from Canada (may require a short delay). There are only 20 sample sets (total) available for purchase. Make order purchases in this thread only. First come, first served. I will follow up with you in PM for payment and shipment details.

Payment by PayPal Friends & Family. You may use the PayPal Goods & Services option, but a +4% surcharge shall apply to cover fees (total $26 for one set, $46.80 for two sets). All prices and payments in US dollars. DO NOT convert to any other currency when paying.

All proceeds for these sales shall go to enhancing my organized charitable fundraising efforts.

THIS MAY BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO OBTAIN A SAMPLE SET OF THESE CHIPS, EVER! Get yours, today!

No Grouse Mountian $1s and $5s in the "sample set"??

Unfortunately, there are only 34 of the $1, TOTAL, on the market. Too few to give out as samples. The situation is EVEN WORSE with the $0.50 ones.
BUT I HAVE ADDED THE $5! And no increase in price!

Is it possible that you were the winner of the 3,369 chip set that sold last week? I was hoping someone here got it, but so far no one has stepped up to claim the victory.

I do hope it was you -=- DrStrange

For what little this is worth, I had loaded up a $3,145 bid and had my finger on the trigger as the auction ran down. In the end I decided I was bidding against someone else here and thought that was counter productive. No one had spoken up for all the chips. Best I could tell there were not enough people to cover the entire chip lot given it was almost all ones and fives. Turns out that was a good decision, saving us almost $800 on the gavel price.

Can you expand on this a little? If the proceeds are going directly to a reputable charity I am in but just not sure what you mean by the sentence above? Cheers!

To be clear, I am not a registered charity, nor am I an employee of one. I use my own personal equipment to host charity fundraising events, the next one which is going to happen in just under 2 weeks. The charities are not pre-specified, but are chosen by the winning participant in the casino tournament that I organize. Charities that have benefited in the last few years include local hospital foundation, Hospice society (for end-of-life care), local branch of the SPCA, urban outreach for homeless and at-risk youth, wilderness rescue society, etc.

@T_Chan would probably vouch for me. He has helped me out at my events for several years now. The current expansion project I'm working on right now involves a roulette set up for the casino games - many of you may have noticed I have been trying to acquire suitable chips for milling and customizing over the past several months. I'm glad to say that I have reached my physical chip count goal, but now to design and have printed (with @Gear) appropriate labels. Even though I have been both patient and lucky in finding some good deals with some help of the forum members here, the project itself requires not a small amount of money, all of which is my own (no business deductions, etc). Any small "profit" I make from selling chips here goes directly into realizing this project. I hope that I can raise money little by little by offering some unique, hard-to-find, or in-demand items from the wild into the collections of fellow chippers here.

Confirmed that @allforcharity is legit. He holds some fantastic casino night charity events, where the winner of the evening gets to choose which charity the money raised for the night goes towards. He's enforces that it must be a registered charity, not "Bob needs a new car foundation", nor "The Human Fund".

GOOD NEWS! I'm able to expand the 3-sample chip to include the Grouse Mountain $5, so you will now get FOUR chips for each sample set at no increase in price! I will have a picture of the $5 chip up later tonight. (It is a solid red THC with golden inlay.)

Unfortunately, no. There are only 34 of the $1, TOTAL, on the market. Too few to give out as samples. The situation is EVEN WORSE with the $0.50 ones.
The $5 are an altogether different sticky problem that has to do with my rack quantities. And none of these have shaped inlays.

I don't get it. If there only 34 what value would they have other than being used for sample sets?

I just need a single $5 chip for the THC hub inlay collection. Got any extra singles?

Gotcha. Will PM in a bit, let's try to do the shipping in waves (or preferably, all at once if there's enough interest).

17 sets left.
I’m cool with any shipping process you prefer. I know you’re good and I’m in no rush.
Thanks!

Okay, really putting my money where my mouth is. And it's big (my mouth).

ALL PROCEEDS FROM SAMPLE SET SOLD UP TIL NOW ALL THE WAY THROUGH SUNDAY JULY 29 WILL GO DIRECTLY TO CHARITY! NO EXPENSES HELD BACK!

My next charity fundraising event night will occur on Saturday, July 28. The winner of the casino tournament happening that night will get to pick the charity that all the money raised that night will go to. It will be a registered Canadian charity. I will add all proceeds from sample set sales to the money raised, but you must act soon! Make your dibs now, and I will contact you by PM for payment later.
