This is not targeted at anyone in specific, I'm just shocked at what I currently see PCA $500s being listed and sold for these days. There are at least 30 complete racks known of in the wild, and not even a Nevada casino...I get it though gorgeous chips. I've owned racks of both primaries and secondaries before.

I consider these head and shoulders above PCA $500s though in my humble opinion. They are from one of the most famous Reno casinos back in the glory days of the town, THC, leaded, shaped and textured inlays.

I was told from the person I bought these from in Nevada that only 300 exist. Cannot verify this in any way but in all my years I've never seen them in quantity. I had a total of 220ish at one point but sold a barrel years ago. These 2 racks are cherry picked as they best of the bunch. Not Mint, but not far from it. Most are still chalky and all have sharp edges.

Given what I'm asking, I've tried to put forth all the information about these up front. I've never had any desire to sell or part with these, and I'm hoping no one out there is crazy enough to pay this price - but if you are, well power to ya dont think i can justify keeping them.

It's unheard of to find these chips in quantity, especially in complete racks so NO I will NOT be splitting off 1, 2, 5, 10 chips or barrels. If you want to buy a rack and split them off to people I guess that's your business as the new owner but I think that would be pretty awful given their history and unique nature.

200x - $7500/rack

This reminds me of the "I am rich" app. The "telephoned" story is better than the real story. But it goes like this:
An app was sold at $10k so people could flex that they are rich. No other function other than to rub it in everyone's face, "you can't afford this, and I can". The real story is it only cost $1k. Hehe.

What's the base color? Photos makes them appear almost charcoal but I'm assuming a shade of purple?

Also how many Harolds were there?

Also, something I forgot to mention in the OP:

These are Nevada chips. Which means they are typically under state regulation to be destroyed when decommissioned. This is one of the main reasons why there are so very few chips like this, particularly high denoms, in quantity from a Nevada casino.

I was told these were stored for decades inside a vault and found right before I purchased them years ago which is how they survived. Quite different than just a riverboat shutting down for business and selling their hoard to the highest bidder.
