Is this real life?
Oh no. Is this actually in the works?
Chips will get harder to find. Not just in Las Vegas. Phase out plans are already on the books. Not entirely. Not tomorrow. But unless you’re a high limit player chips will be rare. MGM has a similar outlook. The next gen could care less about chips.

Right, of course, but could a small ass card room order chips from wherever they want?China
Someone may want to warn that card room that they're about to have an influx of chips.Right, of course, but could a small ass card room order chips from wherever they want?
End of our hobby, right there.

With sweet debit cards.....A”new chapter”
Maybe if it's *just* a top hat it won't be so bad? This is still really really shitty IMO.End of our hobby, right there.
Based on what BGinGA said, it's entirely possible.I'm just wondering if it's possible or even legal for a small cardroom in California to order chips from whomever they like or does California Gaming Commission, or whatever it might be, have certain vendors that card rooms and casinos have to use.
Most likely this is a fake chip, but is it possible that it is not?
Unlikely that a fake would have been added to chipguide.com without noting it as such.I'm just wondering if it's possible or even legal for a small cardroom in California to order chips from whomever they like or does California Gaming Commission, or whatever it might be, have certain vendors that card rooms and casinos have to use.

Oh, I missed that, thank you!Based on what BGinGA said, it's entirely possible.
Jesus, ok. Based on your previous comment though, you say Sun-Fly, whom I'm not familiar with at all, could be producing these? So copying cards mold? What the F is happening?Unlikely that a fake would have been added to chipguide.com without noting it as such.
Sun-Fly makes ceramic chips for casinos, including Cali.
Pretty sure Sunfly had it first.Jesus, ok. Based on your previous comment though, you say Sun-Fly, whom I'm not familiar with at all, could be producing these? So copying cards mold? What the F is happening?
Gotcha, like I said, no clue about Sun-Fly but all that makes sense.Pretty sure Sunfly had it first.
Think about who copies whom in this industry.
Sunfly has always been a reputable chip manufacturer and there have been plenty of group buys here through them. They hybrids were a big fad for a while.
It's that shitty. No more China Clays for me. It's crossed a line.Maybe if it's *just* a top hat it won't be so bad? This is still really really shitty IMO.
It's a ONE, at the top.
