Today mark the start of my third year into chipping & cards collection.

Addiction is still there but without a doubt is easing when compared to the start, no longer feeling the rush to buy and wanting to own everything anymore. No longer checking on the classified every 30 seconds & waking in the middle of the night to check on PCF.

But instead now I only wanting to own the expensive and rare set, the only thing that is stopping me is my very poor bankroll.

Honest advice is to not just stop the classifieds checking addiction. It serves a valuable purpose in the beginning years as you will be able to get a gauge for the market. As a new member I’d read literally anything and everything I can on this fourm. Learn about the new and old drama. Learn about how people here conduct and do buisness. Once I got to that point which took almost a year I felt comfortable pulling the trigger on my first set. Those sets were HSI used cash and tourney and if you ask my players and myself it remains one of my favorite sets I owned until it got stolen. But the upcoming sale from @TheChipRoom would be a good deal usually those chips won’t sell for lower than the TCR price except maybe the $1’s. If you have more questions feel free to reach out man!

It’s one of my first project & I enjoyed the building process of it.

Took about 5-6 months before I gotten a set of workable 400 chips which I continue to add on subsequently to about 650+ (with extra for each denom) that took like another year as I didn't want to overspend a premium for it and I not in a rush.

Getting the PCA plaques rather than the PCA $100 / 500 chips definitely helped me to keep it within the budget. It also added some unique factor by having the biggest denomination in Plaques as well

It not a bad thing to be waiting the classified every 30 sec, you could end up with a couple of bargain deals
