I'm trying to build a cash set that can spread two tables of different stakes at the same time.

Table 1: .25/.50- 100 max buy in

Starting Stacks:

.25 x 12 (for the first 8 players)
17 x 1
16 x 5

Table 2: 1/1- 150 max buy in

Starting Stacks:

1 x 15
5 x 19
2 x 20

I would like to keep it at 1000 chips for budgetary reasons

I know you guys are going to say buy more chips. I really want to keep it at 1000 chips. May standard one table sets for .25/.50 usually only have 200 x 1 and 200 x 5.

I think this would work. Since I have time before any orders will be placed I figured I would start a discussion.

Thanks in advance.

5 x 400
20 x 180

I'd vote for

100 - .25
300 - 1s
500 - 5s
100 - 25s for rebuys etc.

This is the breakdown i plan to grow my cash set to.

I typically believe in taking ur max buy in, then triple it, then multiple by max number of players, and that should add up to a reasonable total bank to aim for. You may need higher denoms ($100s) or more chipes if ur stakes ever move up.

I added in the 1000 set that I'm looking to build. I figure that might help a little lol.

.25 x 100
1 x 300
5 x 400
20 x 180
20 x 100

I just added the break down that I was considering. It is kind of draw between this one and the one I posted.

Thanks,

I really think that you need 2 racks of fracs for .25/.50.

I definitely don't need two racks of fracs. Especially if their only for one table. Our game is .25/.50, but does play slightly bigger. The ones and the fives are definitely the workhorse chips.

$.25- 160
$1- 300
$5- 400
$20 or $25- 140

I don’t know anything but I am considering same situation

Dig it!

I'd just recommend splitting the last rack to include a couple barrels of hundos...

I'm in line with most everybody else:

$0.25 x 100
$1 x 300
$5 x 500
$20 (or $25) x 80
$100 x 20
  1. One rack of blinds chips per table (quarters for .25/.50, dollars for 1/1).
  2. I like 3-4 racks of workhorse chips per table: two each of $1 and $5 for a .25/.50 game, and three racks of $5 for 1/1.
  3. One rack of high value chips should be enough if you add a barrel of hundos. This gives your bank an extra $1500-1600 for the same number of chips.

Are you planning on full tables for each table or will this be shorter, like 6-7 max per table?

This breakdown allows for almost 600 BB per person (if 10-handed) on each table as well as doubles as a decent 1/2 set if used alone.
