With the knowledge that CPC will be going through changes next year I figured now was the best time to finalize and future proof my tournament set.

Currently I have:
140 x 100
60 x 500
120 x 1,000
80 x 5,000

edit: I also have 20x25k plaques.

I'm looking to scale up into a T25 set that can comfortably play with 16, and in a pinch handle up to 24 players. I figure for 16 players a breakdown of 12/12/5/6/X, and with 24 the bare bones 8/8/4/7/X. This gives me a minimum of 192/192/96/168/X.

Rounding up a bit, and adding extra 1ks and 5ks for color ups and re-buys I'm coming up with this for an 800 chip set. Is this how you'd portion out an 800 chip T25 MTT set?

200 x 25
200 x 100
100 x 500
200 x 1,000
100 x 5,000

Looks good to me.

If you want a small twist, change 20 of your T5000 into T25000 and design a nice final chip. Unless, of course, you want to do some T25K plaques (you won't need many). It's a nice capstone.

Already got some T25k plaques. Tbh I don't love them and will probably give them another shot, I just think the BRPro plaques don't have quite enough pop (not that my design is fantastic either). What's that old saying, "measure once, cut twice"?

Your count looks good, and is my go-to for a 2-table 16-player T25-base set (I have several). But adding another T5000 rack plus a T25000 rack (1000 chips total) makes the set also able to support both T100- and T500-base events, and fills an acrylic chip carrier.

Get 'em now before they're gone. Won't be a "next time".

If I was bumping to 1000, I would probably just try to extend the number of people I can seat at T25.

How's this for a stretch to 3-tables 30max 8/8/4/7/2?

240/240/120/240/160?

All of the T25 thru T500 end up in starting stacks. Enough T1ks for SS+T25&T100 color up. 60 T5k in SS+12 to color up the T500s leaves 78 for rebuys. Also already have 20 T25k plaques that can take all the T1ks off the table.

Has the added benefit of allowing 12/12/5/6/2 all the way up to 20 players as well.
